GTP D1GP S2 : Round 4 (Results Up)

Welcome to the third round of the Gran Turismo Plant D1 Grand Prix, this week we are visiting Suzuka D1GP section.

• Everyone picks a car to use through out the competition.
• Tuning CAN be changed per different course section.
• Season will last 5 weeks, 5 different sections.
• Entrants will have one week to enter an uploaded video to
http://www.youtube.com, sent to me *SammiTougeGirl* by PM.
• The videos will then be posted up, so 3 indipendant judges can score each one.
• Cars will be locked after the first event YOU participate in.
• You can get a max of 20 points per week.
• First place will earn you 20 points, second will earn you 16, third will
get 12, fourth will get 8, fifth will get 4 and 6th and beyond will get a single point.
• At the end of the comp the person with the most points will be
crowned The GTPD1GP Champion.
• Track/section will be stated each Monday
• You have 1 week to do your run.
• Don't be a thread Nazi with spam, or YOUR video.
• Video editing etc. is allowed, but you need to show your tires and
power, and then your run. Your run needs to be on the FIRST lap, so we get
the same angles for EVERY car. NO chase cam, the other one.
• Not following the rules can get you removed from the competition
for that week, with a minus 1 point per violation, this will be for constant
complaining, "put downs", double posting/posting your entry video in this
thread ETC...


CAR RESTRICTIONS ​
• Road cars only, no race or D1GP cars allowed
• No changing your actual car, only rims, wing and setup
(Power/modifications/settings) may be changed
• Tires : Radials only(N)
• Power: NO RESTRICTIONS​

no, its another D1GP section that is to be done in reverse.
here is a d1 video that shows the lines you should be striving for and the starting point.

lol at nomukens idle problem, ive seen the same problem on a lot of friends cars.

also, ive had no problem using a 200hp AE86 for this section.
 
why nomuken and not kazama [lol] i'm just kidding... not really I have it where kazama does a perfect run live footage but whatever dont take this as a real saying from me.
 
i'm outta this round can't do it with this busted dfp it's hard because it like screws up when i actually drift like i normally do and plus i lack angle

I would also like to say, that I am not very impressed with what you guys submitted. Only one video stood out, and I'm sure everyone knows which one that is.
 
heh, I hope we're thinking of the same video then.

I wouldn't say I was dissapointed with the submissions. There was just one car/guy that saw a little more potential in this piece of track, and it showed almost immediately in the vid. On average I still think the entries are much better than they were in round 1.

TurtleSlow: you must be after my heart or something with these music choices. First some Jerry C (or Funtwo, I guess), now some White Stripes 👍
 
Im sorry to say but youre not thinking of the same runs.:)
You can tell why im not a judge,
I can never really see that much difference in the runs.
Though I cant actually see them for this round...
 
Well if your comments and recently posted results are any indication, I'd say we judges are having a rough time differentiating as well.

Sure, I can identify a run that I particularly like based on my own marking scheme, but it seems rare for the three of us to all agree on which run was best - and the disagreement only gets worse the farther down the ranking you look.

Everyone is different... if we weren't we wouldnt be who we are. But i think the reason why we judge different is because we all look for different things in a run.
