I've just launched www.gtplanet.org, a backup site that will allow me to pass along any updates or information should GTPlanet.net go offline for an extended period of time. It's hosted on a completely different web server in a completely different datacenter on completely different DNS server, so the two sites will never affect each other. Hopefully it will never have to be used, or at least not very often, but keep gtplanet.org in mind the next time you can't access this site. :)
 
Lets just hope both site don't go down at the same time! :scared:

Really? I remember sending you a PM about if GTP goes down again you should setup like a forum of invision board, so members could go there, it's not really the same idea. But yeah.

I just looked in my "Sent Items" folder, it's not there, I do clean my Private Messages folders frequently, so I may have deleted that one. Though, I totally remember sending the PM to you.
 
Oh, that does sound a bit more familiar, my bad. That's a good idea, I'll look into it.
 
No, when this official forum is down, and Jordan knows about it and there will be a large delay, he could automatically turn on a small Invision Board forum on gtplanet.org. This one would be cleared everytime GTP went up, this way it's wouldn't be a large server load. 👍

Sounds like a cool little idea so member could ask questions and stuff and keep in the loop with eachother even when gtp is down.

Yeap. 👍 That's pretty much what I thought too, it would be better for people who have no life and need to be on GTP.
