Theres already a group of people with GTP in their names. Like GTP Tags...I dno if I should call it a team or not, but...well it's everyone from here right?

So I think we should form a team from GTP that consists of all or most of the drifters in GTP.

I know theres already DD, but we all know they're exclusive xD

So...any agree disagrees? Any thoughts on a different name maybe? Something other than GTPD...lol

what tires you run on i dont want to drift with slow people i drift on s2s and
s1s what about everyone else:tup::)
 
sounds like yall trying to get a slow angle and snaping the car back and then putting it back into drift with is not the way to drift all it means is your gonna get left behind that simple:yuck:i play with enough dirfters running on n2 n1 etc having to sit behind them lol and watch them drift because there not moving fast enough for me to pace with them N tires are the slowest not enough grip N3 i say is the best way to fly if u going on N tires ah whatever if you want to prove your point about tires angle and speed heres my aim name gt5d1drifting anybody willing to back up what they say ?👍
 
lol all i got to say to N1/N2 drifting is .. good luck keepin up!

Theres no reason that you can't get the same angle that you can get on N1/N2's on S1 S2 or S3 tires.. you just need to go a bit faster. Street cars don't have tires that are like ice... so drifting on N1/N2's makes no sense to me.

It's ok though, i like passing people in full drift lol.
 
its just preferance, I personally think people who use S tires just have way too much power. I use N2 and N3's and I can still go as fast if not faster than some of the people using S tires. I dno, I feel more control using N's, easier to slide without touching the e-brake.

lol, I don't care if im 'proofed' wrong or not, either way I have to go to vancouver for a week tommorow, so I won't have time to play with you. You should also note that I wrote "some of of the people using S tires." cause even I drift a lot faster in a car with S tires, I just have to jam pack it with power. So next time, please read and think before you come lashing out with a cocky attitude; and I don't use AIM.

Right, well I can't untill I get back from my vacation anyways.
 
I would be down for learning to drift. Just got my wheel and (g25) and having such a hard time adjusting to it. Any tips or car choices for a beginner?
 
First of all, don't counter steer too much or too suddenly. Secondly, try a few normal races with it and get used to the wheel. From there you just apply what you know about drifting and you're all set 👍
 
well i have been using the wheel for 2 months now and getting better every night but cant seem to initiate any drifts with any car lolz.
 
I like this idea :) sign me up for it.

What i don't like though is the people in this thread, not naming any names, who get dead competitive because they can drift faster than you, even when they use their e-brake or whatever. That's not the spirit of racing. Like Keiichi Tsuchiya (the original Drift King) said 'I drift not because it is a quicker way around a corner, but the most exciting way'. Drifting is not solely about competition. Yeah, you can go up against someone, but that's not the underlying idea. It's firstly and foremost about having fun with your mates.

Also, just a quick thought about the name. GTP will be irrelevant in a few months (fingers crossed) so maybe something more like D1:GT (Drift 1: Gran Turismo). But, that is kinda like D1:GP :/

GTP_ Stands for GTPlanet not GTPrologue so no the GTP won't be irrelevant in a few months.:dunce:

The only way i can see how to show loyalty to the website and show other people what your intensions are is to put D1_ after GTP_ so my PSN would read:-

GTP_D1_initial-D

nice and easy and pretty unmistakable that you are going to drift:tup:

not a slower car, but a car with enough power to spin it's tires and don't forget OVERSTEER! 👍
