GTP-DTM Season 3: Round 6 - Grand Valley Speedway (29 Laps)

After 2 close races at 2 different street courses, the DTM series heads back to road courses. But we come back to a long, and at times difficult road course at Grand Valley Speedway, with a variety of corners from fast esses to tight hairpin turns, not to mention 2 long straightaways. Your qualifying + race times must be sent to me by Sunday, June 1 at 23:59 EST (GMT -5; 6:59 GMT).

The concrete areas in turns 8 & 15 can be used as runoff area, but you cannot use them to overtake during a race, any positions you do gain by using these areas must be given back.

One of my favourite tracks of all time.. :)

I will enjoy this round.. Ohh run off room, how I've missed ye :p
 
Given the Deadline for this round, I'll most likely be turning in my times earlier than usual. I have plans on travelling to San Francisco for SFGTP3. :D

I'm already at work on my racing having done K-Klasse testing and Qualifying earlier tonight with the first race attempt in a little while.;)
 
Hey TS,

Is the concreted area on the inside turn 8 and outside turn 15 legal? Or do we have to keep off them?

You can use them if you run wide or if you take up too much kerb, but in the race you can't use them to over-take.

I would like to apologize for not getting the results posted on time, my internet has been out since Monday and it just got back on today.

The results, as usual will be posted in posts 2 and 3.

Don't worry about having to submit times this week or next week, the DTM series will take a mid-season break, but the next round will start June 15 at Deep Forest Raceway and the times will be due on June 22.
 
Ah. :D Guess that means there'll be plenty of time for testing then.:trouble:
