a series that runs along side fia gt3 championship it will be called gtp (gran touring production) there will be 5 classes based on power in kilowatts
unlimited (over 501kw)
a class (401 kw to 500kw)
a1 class (301 kw to 499kw)
b class (201kw to 300kw)
c class (101kw to 200kw)
c1 class(1kw to 100kw)
or in hp
unlimited class 671hp and over
a class 537hp to 670hp
a1 class 403hp to 536hp
b class 269hp to 402hp
c class 135hp to 268hp
c1 class 1hp to 134hp

concept classes are same
unlimited concept 671hp and over
a concept 537hp to 670hp
a1 concept 403hp to 536hp
b concept 269hp to 402hp
c concept 135hp to 268hp
c1 concept 1hp to 134hp

Round 1 -Suzuka Circuit
- Two 7 lap feature races.


Round 2 -Twin Rings Motegi (East Short Course)
- Two 7 lap feature races.


Nuburgring 24Hour - Nurburgring Nordschleife Optional, NO POINTS SCORED
24h Endurance race to allow for GT3 and gtp Teams to get back to Europe from Asian "road trip."


Round 3 -Grand Valley Speedway
- Two 7 lap feature races.

round 4 - Tsukusa Wet
- three(3) 10 lap races not support for fia gt3 championship


Round 5 -High Speed Ring
- Two 7 lap feature races.


Round 6 - Deep Forest Raceway
- Two 7 lap feature races


Round 7 - Mid-Field Raceway
- Two 7 lap feature races.


Round 8 -Trial Mountain
- Two 7 lap feature races.

POINTS and TITLES
There are three separate classifications :
* GTP Championship for Drivers (scale : 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1)
* GTP Championship for Teams (scale : 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 - all cars score for their respective team)
* GTP Manufacturers Cup (scale : 10-6-4-3-2-1)
Points will be scored in the same fashion all the way through. The top eight (8) finishers will receive drivers title points, the top eight (8) finishers will receive team title points, and the top six (6) finishers will receive manufacturers points. (Just in case that wasn't clear!)

mods and aids
road cars only mods are r3 medium race tires , roll cage , racing gearbox (20kg more ballast )and wheels no other mods are allowed awd cars will run with tcs only no aids in the rain (tsukuba) , rwd cars will run with tsc only and fwd cars will run with all aids (unless driver doesn't want any)

concept cars
concept cars can run on approval (pm me for approval ) no wild concepts

if a car is too fast for class
if a car is too fast the car will a have aids striped or b moved up a class

cars available
any production been in production between 2002 and 2006 (no tuners) car is allowed

races
races will be the same as the fiagt3 class but shorter distances (7laps)

cars age limit
cars 2001 and under are not allowed unless in production from 2002 the 2002 skyline r34 will be outlawed because of age next year

this series will be fun the series is baced on production cars and finds out whats cars are better than others on diffrent parts of the track
 
I'll use a TVR 350C in this challenge/cup if it's eligable on GT4

yes but what year is the car made through and whats the power of it

we have to use the stock gearbox too? come on! at least give us a chance to change gearing.

you can use a racing gear box but you have to carry 20kg more ballast

Six String
I may take part in this, but don't know what class or car yet. And does there have to be three drivers in a team?

you can have up to 4 drivers per team you can have up to 2 teams you can drive in one only and the second team can have only 2 cars
 
Apologies to anyone wishing to race in this series - though applications were, as yet, sparse. wasace96 has now been banned, so unless someone wishes to take up stewardship of it, the series will not be able to go ahead.
