Welcome to anyone interested, i had in mind for quite a while the idea of creating this club to gather clean racers interested in realistic races, with different class competing on the track at the same time.

While not having many proper racing cars of the same category, i tried to add road cars modified in order to be competitive ( as shown down the post.) and thus thickening the starting grid with more cars, preventing grids full of copy/paste cars.
The division will be the following:
  • GT3: 605 PP ( not rounded down in order to permit flat floors, wings etc)
  • GT-A: 570 PP
  • GT-B: 550 PP
  • GT-C: 500 PP

note:in every race will compete a max of 3 categories ( GT3 6 cars - GTA 5 - GTB 5)

Races will follow the test/qualy/endurance race format, the race itself won't last more than 20 minutes, are weekly or bi-weekly and will try to accomodate as much as people possible
Pit stop is mandatory with change of tire model, damage is set to low but drag effect is realistic, in order to prevent lag/crash and similia.
It'd be nice to have a full 16 cars grid, there will be no safety car and penalty is set to high
Weather will be as random as possible.

Pics showing off the grid variety are really appreciated, while i'm not good myself.

ps: all the cars are tuned to compete in each own's category, included models from the same manufacturer.

With enough people on the grid ( at least 10 or more) is possible to start arranging an event, or even better a championship.

CARS- GT3 CATEGORY LIST

while all the classic Gt3 are welcomed, only the base models can be taken in multiple groups. While no more than one same-liveried car can race. ( So only one BMW Z4 GT3 per race for example.)

GENERAL RULES (Always in progress)
Club and its events were made for fun purposes; avoid abusive speech, racism, ramming and harassin attitudes in general in order to ensure a competitive yet relaxed atmosphere.
Due to the lack of racing attendees or race control you are responsible of your own behaviour.
If a faster car is approaching you, do not fight the overtake.
While not illegal, avoid as possible blocking.
If you happen to create an incident and gain positions by it slow down, let the people you overtook take their time to get back at pace.
For any complain or other you can freely report any kind of abusive attitude or behaviours here.
Who's often associated with reckless driving or lack of sportsmanship in general will get a warning, more than 2 warnings for abusive attitudes means permanent disqualification from any activity of the league, while up to 5 warnings for reckless driving / ramming/ general bad driving ( Because let's be honest, not everyone is Lauda or Kristensen.) with a week or two of suspension from the league activities.
General Team Rules-Availability and Identification.
Teams can participate the events, same colour pattern and same car in the same category is mandatory
Teams who participate an event in two different classes might have a different colour (While it is still preferable a same colour pattern)
Teams who participate the same event cannot line up more than two cars per category , but still deploy cars for as many categories they want.
Teams and independent drivers MUST make clear days if not hours prior the event the following:
  • Car model and category
  • Paintchip
  • racing number (mandatory for almost every race)
  • possible driving companion, state if driving in another racing class
Please note: due to the fact that there are no actual multi class events on GT6 with no actual restrictions, tuning is free and not restricted thus it's up to you tuning your car for a certain class.
Please remember that cheaters will be noticed, every report deeply investigated and answers motivated, in case of cars that exceeded their respective racing class the driver will get a warning for abusive attitude towards the community and thus get in strict observation.
But then again we're just people who tries to have fun with their own game.Have fun and please never force me to apply said exceptions, because the general rule is to have fun and clean competitive racing.
ps: i will post specifications with aftermarket pieces and values later.

We are also going to do some multi-class races here in the near future. Had some test races a few weeks back. Was fun and the participants liked the idea. Good luck with this. Maybe our clubs can run together sometime.

Oh no, I CLICKED!! :scared:

So, has there been any interest in this? I'm going to work on souping up a few choice rides for each tier in case.

Yes, as for now i'm just figuring out what car is a better competitor to the other (wwhile i'm 100% sure on the GT3 replica tier, tested them and no one really is OP to the other, i had to lose my mind on how to better balance every car like ,one with lightweight, one with power ...etc)
as soon we get at least 5 or more participants,we can figure out the first online meeting.

I'm interested, love me some different class racing.

What day of the week do you think this is going to happen on?

I'm very interested in this!
Baring in mind that their are only 16 grid positions perhaps the classes we have are already good enough for season 1?

I was thinking something about monday- tuesday so to not interfere much with other scheduled leagues and races, as soon we grow in number we can finally draft a timetable with free practices, qualyfications and races.

The point of drawing up different classes is not to actually use them all in one race, rather than giving the possibility to diversify a starting grid, simulating a real motorsport event in doing so.
I'd prefer odd numbers for lesser categories and even for the highest, so to obtain:
6 GT3
5 GTA
5 GTB

or
8 GT3
8 GTA

or even
5 GTA
5 GTB
5 GTC

Oh okay, so are you planning a league with this soon?

My bad, more than a league i was thinking about a club with meetings and events.
Due the fact that GT hasn't a multi class system for races, results will be unfair and such

Oh okay. My bad. With events you do your own points system per class. Just means taking a picture of each result.
Eitherway if their is a multiclass race with these tag me in it and I'll try to make it.

Yeah, I like it. I'll keep tabs on the going ons here and hopefully it works out.
I'm starting a racecar series on Tuesdays in the coming weeks, so that would probably not be the best for me, but things can always be worked out if it means getting on track.

Off Topic question: Terra dei Fuochi, cos'è? Italia o Argentina/Chile?

I was just thinking about that, for starters i'd like to make a few races-meeting just to see how things work out and get acquainted with everyone. If we were to run a championship i'd really like to put as many tracks as possible, and races that don't go over 30 minutes, so to help people from different timezones with fun and not too long events.
I was even thinking with different categories affiliated to the same team (i.e: you could run in GT3 and win and your friend compete in GTA and score a 2nd overall, adding your points to his 2nd place points, still working on it.)
Thought even of eventually adding 2-3 LMP to race with ( of course there won't be much of choice, to avoid clones on the grid will be only picked lmps with customizable paintchips or possibility of changing numbers)

Infausta Italia, vittima e carnefice del suo dolore.
BTW now i'm working on the pictures of cars of the other classes, starting tomorrow i'll make the community club and if you're willing to, think about the inaugural event of the club. ATM i'm pretty much inspired, but gotta see if more people will be present.

Hi guys, loving the premise here, sounds good 👍.
Been away from GT6 for a wee while. Some of the folks I used to race with have moved to project cars, 🤬's
Hope to run with you sometime.
A little race rusty but I try to be a clean and gracious driver.

Good luck with your series and club Marching Saint - sounds like it could be great fun.

I just wanted to share with you some more ideas related to multi-class racing based on my experience as a host. I think two classes can work well - I tried this with Historic Prototypes (XJ13, Ford Mark 4, Ferrari 330 P4) v Historic GT (Cobra Daytona Coupe, Cobra Chromeline, Chevrolet Corvette C2 Race car) - the cars were tuning prohibited so it was simple for participants. Scoring was done overall for the Prototypes and separately for the GT class e.g. someone in GT could be 4th overall and 1st in class. Two championships were therefore scored, one for each class. Drivers chose which of the two classes to compete in. Having two classes spiced things up and made the racing very interesting so for example a slow driver in a prototype could be battling with a fast guy in a GT.

I will be running a two class Historic BSCC championship in the Autumn, but for the summer months I keep it as simple as possible due to the high absence rate due to holidays etc.

You can also consider penalty cars. Where a car is historically significant, but cannot lap as fast as the others you can try this trick which I used for the Nissan Bluebird in a Trans Am championship. In real life the car was a two time champion in the hands of John Morton for the BRE team, but in GT6 it lapped 2.5 seconds off the pace, so each week the drivers who came first and second the previous week drove a Nissan Bluebird. This ensured that the car got used and put it in the hands of the best drivers and also shook up the races giving a wider group the chance to score wins. I will be using this trick again with the Ruf in an AMOC Intermarque championship.

In a similar way you can run a three class championship with penalty and reward cars - I call this a handicap series and have one planned using the Cobra. For example most drivers use the same type of car (e.g. Shelby GT 350), next week the first, second and third placed drivers race a slower car (e.g. Corvette C2) while the drivers who placed in the bottom three positions use a faster car (e.g. Shelby Cobra).

With multi-class you can either assign people to different classes based on previous results (as above) or let them choose or base it on a driver rating system. I have tried letting people choose, but I also have a rating system which enables me to place people in different classes if necessary. Normal drivers are Silver. Drivers who show consistent speed and good results are Gold. Drivers who have won championships in my room are Platinum.

One final thought - it can be difficult to achieve the same performance level for cars within a class. I keep the specs as simple as possible (so stewards are not needed - the game sets the limits) and achieve fairness by swapping cars at regular intervals during the championship.

Good luck and get in touch if you ever want to discuss any ideas for championships.

sounds great can you get me a link to your series too? I like your ideas and am willing to participate as no series are quite running here yet I don't think
