GTP online has stopped!!!!!!!

Just been playing and it started going mental!!!!!!cars were taking off and then the game crashed!!!!!!
restarted the ps3 and then got a massive update,but it still wont let me race online!!!!!!!!
just keeps asking me to go to www.gran-turismo.com/jp/gt5p/
but cant work it out until the mrs gets home!!!!
I think the update is upon us sooner than we think!!!!fingers crossed:nervous:

You mean you received an OS update or a GT5:P update?

Version 2.20 of the PS3's operating system has just been released.

cant be arsed to wait so i'll give it a go tomorow and hopefully us japanese prologue players will get the update????

yeah the os update,but it stopped me from playing gt so i jumped to conclusions!!!!!and was hopeing it was the update for prologue........my bad....
 
But still. if gtp5 online has stopped for a while then that must mean that we will get the update?fingers crossed as i live in Japan,and if we dont then i'll have to buy a new copy from the uk....Boooooooooooo
 
I already had the update OS 2.2 and i still can't get online with GT5P, prolly just some maintnence. I'll be kinda mad if it's a update for gt5 though, i let my friend borrow my DFP and it's about 80 miles away :ouch:

It's the same down here in aus. Wouldn't be surprised if we get an update for Japanese version as official release date down here is 28th the same as europe i think. I imagine sony will look after their domestic market as usual. Can't imagine them missing out on extra cars and track. Here's hoping don't want to buy local version as well.

Doesnt look like there will be an update. Also the online service will be down until friday.
 
yes here too,update is firmwhere 2.20 so thats normal,when you start gt5p now it will give you a information page before the game opens and tells you that all is down.....my hopes are also groing by the second!!!!.....spyrrari.
 
When I start GT5P the japanese version I dont get that info page. It just starts as normal.

strange man...cause i do...both when i start it up via eu account or my jpn account i get the same thing.....are you able to go racing online??
 
nope I cant race online because when I press the online button and the GT TV button I get an info box which I cant read because its in japanese.

thats what i ment steve...i also get that message just before the "home" page opens and i have to click the ok button to go on..........solved:).......very curious what will happen in next few days:nervous:
