GTP Track Days: Postponed again

Ok, I've decided to make this official and post up the first schedule.

GTP Track days consist of opening a room for a couple hours, and anyone is allowed to come and go. No sign-up lists, no requirements to show up, no races. Just a bunch of us lapping a predetermined track for a couple hours and having fun.

Lobby Rules Are:
  • Mics are OK
  • All aids OFF except for ABS
  • Full Damage
  • Real Grip
Give each other room! We're not racing.

First event schedule:

Deep Forest Raceway
Saturday, February 26th, 2011
7:00PM EST USA - Room Opens
9:00PM EST USA - Room Closed

The theme for the first track day will be an All Subaru Meet. Bring out your favorite Subaru(s) for some fun!

Car Rules are:
  • Unlimited Power OK
  • Unlimited Weight OK
  • Street cars and RM cars ONLY
  • Tires limited to Racing Hard
If you try to use a non-approved car, a warning will be issued. If you ignore that warning, you will be kicked from the room.

Yeah I'm interested. It was announced already but nothing came of it.
 
Saturdays are good for me :) I wouldn't mind doing it :D
 
I'm also going to make it so anyone can open the room (given my approval) just in case I can't make it for some reason. Saturday afternoon sounds good.
 
Yeah, bop in whenever sounds like a plan! I am interested. Getting close to summer and I don't want to commit to a series.👍

At the moment, unsure. I just made the finals for GT Academy so we'll probably do a couple before then, starting with this coming weekend. Sorry I kept putting this off, GT Academy took priority. 👍
 
Let me guess, the next meeting will be a Nissan meet :lol:

I'm sure the 32 GT Academy finalists will be racing nothing but Nissans online over the next few weeks in preparation for Orlando.

Count me in for the next one, I need to race you in something other than a Miata :)

The only thing I am doing for GT Academy over the next few weeks it try and get myself into shape. I'm just going to enjoy GT5 for what it is until then, no need to burn myself out practicing with combos that probably won't help anyway.

I watch the NASCAR races on Sundays and at the moment am participating in the Lexus IS-F Cup. So Sunday is a no-go, sorry.
