GTP_ Alias - possible?

Hi everyone

I've searched the forum but without luck.

I've just created a new profile with a propper GTP_ nick. However I've been told I can create an alias on my existing level 30 PSN so I don't need to start over - is that true?

I know I can level up fast with seasonal events but it's really a mess with all my cars being on another account...

Yes you do. You CAN copy the account to your other user on your PS,but when you start the game it gives an error message about being linked to another PSN account and won't load. I think it automatically creates a new save for you.

Another important online community feature completely overlooked by PD.
 
Well I wasn't talking about duplicating my savegame but simply if I'm able to change nick or add a new alias...?
 
Sorry, misunderstood.

I do know that you cannot change you're PSN ID once created. And I've never heard of setting up an alias ID that runs from your existing account.

Levelling up seriously isn't that bad though.

Even easier if you do this: Auto Credit/XP Grind once at level 24.
 
Ok, we'll I've taken one spin on the seasonal event DTM and it pumped me up to level 17 in one go ;)... So I'm going for the seasonal event JGTC and I think I'm good to go.
However I will only use this event for qualifying and races where the GTP_ nick is needed.
