Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example

Congrats to everyone for taking part and especially to all the D2 runners with D1 times Personally, I am surprised to only get a positive handicap of 0.03 given I ran less than 50 miles and pretty much sucked at driving this car..still, it's a welcome relief from the massive handicaps that were sending me towards Division 10!

Edit: Incidentally, I've just nocticed something very strange...Mad Max is not listed in the results on this page, yet he is listed on the results page on the Leaderboard, albeit with a strange lap time 7 seconds behind first place

Not unheard of, last time I recall it was explained someone forgot to remove their "setup" lap. Vaxen knows to exclude those.

I dunno about that handicap thing. Just seems a marker for division placement to me. But thanks for the 👍 anyway. My submitted best wasn't that much better than the splits I posted so, I was more than a little surprised to move up the board much.

I spent way to much time driving what I remembered being a well behaved car, only to find the WRS combo builders had managed to turn it into a schizophrenic psychopath. The only excuse I have for turning so many laps was the overwhelming desire to beat one or the other, or both, of those understeer/oversteer personalities out of the car. I went so far as, at the end of one stint, to degenerate to smashing the car into the walls outside of turns 1 and 2 for about 5 minutes. I reckon you could say, I went a little schizo/psycho myself.

I read somewhere around here this combo had a very narrow racing line. I say BS to that. There was no racing line at all. There was only the understeer line and the oversteer line. If you could manage to straddle both you might have a chance of confusing the car enough to get through a turn with some measure of what felt like speed. The really annoying thing was, the lines would swap out and/or cross each other differently from one lap to another. Of the almost 100 laps turned, not one put a grin on my face.

Well, I do like my seats comfy, my women soft and my whisky aged 12 years smooth. However, comfort tires are not soft, nor smooth and are anything but comfortable. The numbers may not lie but, they can certainly tell a different story to whomever is looking at them. I wasn't driving it angry, I was an F5 tornado with lightning spewing out all over the place. It was ugly. Not sure I can chance it, twice in two weeks. I ain't young.

@Dragonwhisky I completely agree with you with driving on comforts. I absolutely hate it mostly (usually because I completely suck of course!!) as I spend too much time just focussed on trying to control the car and can't focus on lines, speed etc...however, the current combo is the complete opposite of almost everything I've run with Comfort tyres, shocking as that sounds...I did not expect the TZ2 on CS to be anything other than a slippery hell beast (especially when I saw it's default is race tyres) but it behaves like a cuddly lazy cat! I actually spent the entire session earlier wishing for less grippy tyres Periodically the back slides out but it's easy to correct...the ease with which it drives made me wonder if I had the completely wrong settings and/or car earlier as it didn't feel right. I would definitely recommend giving this one a try..you won't be disappointed
