blackflag-gif.152573
shows that the replay has was found to be invalid.

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Question. For Inferno Rosso, it was "Tarmac, red and white rumble strips, and other hard surfaces, such as cobbles, are all track."
Now then, which way do the scales tip, cobbles are not track in #124 or are they?

Should be the way it was for inferno rosso. Somehow i didnt copy those regulations correctly

Quoting you guys, but posting this for the benefit of all who participated and those reviewing laps.

The rules for this event will be as they were posted in the event thread. We can't change the rules after the deadline has passed, laps have been submitted, and results have been posted. If this clarification needed to happen, it should have happened during the week, while participants still had an opportunity to adjust their driving style or submission.

This is toward the end of sector 6 (lift left turn). I had a picture but it's deleted already.

Why do the flags only show up right in the editing phase?

I see the confusion my post made. I meant it more like an apolagy. Totally agree with Kevin on this one.

I double checked P_RUTSER's replay and yes it's dirty at 4:23 only one tire on the track.

Edit: also at 5:59.

The green flag is a .gif?

Can't believe it - I thought I had pushed hard enough. I'm seriously upping my game for week 125

My first ever negative handicap since entering D1, and on the track I love the most. Wow.

Still, the gaps between the different groups in the time sheet...unbelievable. To think we ran 20km and still finish within tenths of each other.

Incredible control keeping such a pace by the front runners RS_96 and Ed 👍 Congrats to all who stayed clean and hit their goals 👍 and Congrats to all podium finishers and all who finished faster than me

For me... It is by far my worst WRS finish since I have been racing GT, I don't think I ever finished so bad as 5 seconds down at the finish line :embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed: I did enjoy racing it and tried my best but kept stuffing from the karussell onwards... would like to try again sometime in the future maybe with sports tyres :D Crackin event overall and Top Marks to the drivers who had nerves of steel to keep pushing hard right to the end as it was not for the faint hearted

See you all down the road somewhere soon 👍

So based
  • Red and White Rumble Strips and Tarmac are Track Surface. No other surfaces are track.
The cobble ripple strip ISN'T ripple strip and thus isn't legal? At Brunnchen this is very interesting, as it goes tarmac, cobble, red/white curbing, cobble, sand.
Very interestingly by moving onto the ripple strip in the middle you technically keep at least 2 wheels on a legal surface assuming your car is wide enough to be on both the tarmac and that ripple strip. (Which this car is)

I appear to have been tree'd in regards to green flagging MeisterFetz.

You're right, it's a little ambiguous and confusing, in certain sections of the track.

Optimally, we would like to give more clarity to the track boundaries when running an event that involves any of the Nordschleife sections of Nurburgring. It's always best if we can specifically mention the cobble/stone areas, and address them, one way or the other.

When we build our event threads, we start out by copying over a recent week with similar event parameters, and then go back and make the needed adjustments. In this case, adjustments to the track boundaries to comply with a Nordschleife event was missed. We have several sets of eyes on these, and you guys as participants are normally really good about pointing out any inconsistencies. Unfortunately, nobody pointed it out this week, until the results thread. So the rules as they were posted stand.

IF we have any laps that seem to fall in the area of this ambiguity (i.e. rumble, stone, rumble, stone, sand), we as a steward/admin team will review the particular set of circumstances and make a ruling.

I don't want to DQ someone over ambiguous rules, but I also would hope that someone potentially falling afoul of this would ask a clarifying question during the week. Again, something that you guys as participants are normally very good about. We're happy to look at pictures, replays, answer questions, and even provide rule clarifications - during the event week.

At one point, I had a lap I considered dirty, tyres either on grass or cobble. I didn't ask for clarification because I figured I would just produce a lap that was alright. Posting in hopes I will begin to improve my mindset.

Yeah, I couldn't match your speed through the second half, I still can't believe how fast you were from Steilstrecke up to Hohe Acht:eek:
Close competition mate

Congrats to anyone who mastered the Green Hell and achieved their goal :)

Yes our times are always very close mate.:)

This was the 3rd time we finished P1 and P2. 👍
