Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example

Checking the D1 replays at the moment, was a fun few sessions to run 👍 uploading my lap soon but that'll take a while with the filesize. Can't complain with that negative handicap!

No close moments in any of these, I was able to tell who ran low downforce and who ran it high, plenty of different styles to watch 👍

out of idle curosity is it possible to see where I would have finished in the handicap with a 6.45 ish lap. I turned a. few of those on our many Sundays with this car chasing Javier and Lucas ( or was Lucas chasing me...lol)... w/o boost. I know this is out of order but due to the fates intervening I never got to even turn a wheel in the combo that Javier and I spent many moons refining...

If you liked TTing GT6... just wait for GTS. It will knock your sox off.

I remember a lap from d'Holland at this track with the masked Vette in a christmas seasonal with GT5.He did exactly the same thing.

I ran this last session with extra front downforce and a brake adjustment, which felt great the first half of the lap but for a few corners, I slowed down more than necessary forgetting the grip level Nearly lost the car at T10 from braking later than the new setting allowed for, so overall around half a second in the second half of the lap, much less in the first half. Just happy to have finally won at this particular track

I wonder where Daniël/Holl01 - one of the first true aliens if I remember correctly - is these days. Haven't heard of him in a long time. I do remember him qualifying very highly in the Academies and something about a GTP ban?

Probably he (and all the other aliens from these days) are runnin' on other platforms.
I-racing is popular,and recently I came across some chaps at Assetto Corsa.Even the rankings of Project Cars show some of the ol' GTP tags.

Glad you guys liked this one, Ned surely deserved to run this. I blame planned obsolescence not the Fates dude I want to be on the good side of those three ladies Humbling lap times at the top Spent way too many sessions trying to find a compromise between a fast setup and one I could drive on the DS3 Had run this car a million times on stock setup and I found it hard to erase that lap from my brain and get used to what the car could do when adjusted. Another lesson learned 👍
I love the esoteric way handicap works I was 3rd last week and it was barely negative, I'm 6th this week and I get -.2

Looks like around a 2.5, although having your time in the mix might have shaken up the overall handicap structure to a degree. But around there, I would say. Likely would have moved you to around a 3.150 on overall handicap, so still not a D2 promotion, but a step closer. I guess you'll just have to wait until GTS for that step.

Also, congrats to Macca on the win and successful comeback and to everyone who survived the Green Hell on a TT week. Glad we could keep things a little easier to drive to your style and keep it on track with some simple tuning adjustments in the form of aero and torque split. 👍
