Okay guys, this is the official thread of the GTP Challenge ...

3spddrift vs. NK4E

Deadline: Saturday, 28st of August, 2004 Midnight

Here are the judges for this challenge:
Judges, please check your PMs later today!

Your video must not contain your name, or any way to identify who's video it is (to promote fairness in judging).... Instead, use the number that has been assigned to you (via PM), by the Coordinator [Thio]...

When you want to turn in your entries, please upload it to either Pergatory's FTP or 19XX's FTP and only give the head judge the link to the videos, and as soon as they are evaluated, the links will be made public to promote fairness in these challenges.

When the video is uploaded please PM the Coordinator with the link of the video... and post in the thread that your video is uploaded so the judges will know to check there PMs...


The video must include the steering wheel, speedometer, T times, and lap time.

Good luck to our participants and drift on....

Course: Apricot Hill Speedway and Deep Forest
Car: No Limit
Horsepower: No Limit
Tires: Sims all around

REMEMBER:
Keep the entries between 10-15 MBs. For Complex String, it may go up to 20-25MBs max. This helps us out 56k'ers and keeps the bandwidth open for the hosts.

Now Complex really came out from the left wing.... Originally it had been Tahiti Maze! This will be one hell of a video... Good luck to the both of you!

Do you have another memory card for your PS2?

Maybe you could get someone else garage and just go from there?

this competition os over because my opponent gave up because he is starting college and i just started my junior year

What? Oh man. that's not cool. I know school is a big thing, but you guys had a couple of weeks before school started to get something done. Not to mention you both knew the deadline and when you started school. Maybe this should've just been a quick challenge.

I realize that NK4E's memory card was messed up and that's not cool, but come on guys!
 
let them do what they want to do. If school is their priority then leave them alone and let them focus on school. If they fail then that would suck and one of the excuses would be that people were pressuring them to challenge eachother.

I'm not putting down school or doing well in school. But it's not like the startdate for school was a "surprise" That's what I'm sayin. A little foresight would've been nice in this case. But we all have to learn somehow.
