So I'm going to try and keep the organization/formatting simple.

The goal: To have a bi-weekly series running ladder-elimination drag races with a variety of classes to boot. We'll have a number of classes for all tastes, all available with or without nitrous. Starting out we'll keep a limited number of classes, and if demand permits, we will expand from there.

CLASSES: Each class will be based on weight and power regulations. We will adapt to make sure the playing field is as level as possible by balancing the field so that everyone has a chance at victory. Tuning is unlimited as long as the car meets the basic class parameters.

Super light: No weight limit/300 HP maximum
D Class: 900 KG/350 HP
C Class: 950 KG/500 HP
B Class: 1000 KG/750 HP
A Class: Unlimited.
X Class: Limited to Red Bull X Series and Tomohawk X. We will put together a spec for each car once data is gathered.

Each of these classes (barring the X Class) will have a Nitrous enabled variant.
There may be drivetrain restrictions placed in the near future as we gather data, but for the moment, classes are not yet separated by drivetrain.

EVENT TIME: This is fairly flexible and we would like to gauge interest from potential entrants, however the initial aim is to run every other Friday night, starting around 9 PM UTC. There will be test events hosted at suitable times if there is matching interest.

CONDUCT: Please just treat each other fairly and be good sports. Don't get all upset over one round or anything. We will be keeping an eye on your behavior.

THE RACING: We will use a neutral ghost car to start each race, and try to have one car observing the finish line, to try and make sure that we don't have to resort to re-runs or anything of that sort.

A qualifying system can be developed, however for the opening events we'd like to use a random ladder.

All races will be heads-up.

If you "red-light", "jump the start", or find any way to gain an unfair advantage from the starting line during eliminations, you will be immediately DQ'ed. No re-runs.

If you lose control of your car, hit your opponent, attempt to draft your opponent, or otherwise leave your "lane" during eliminations, you will be immediately DQ'ed. This is a worse infraction than red-lighting, and you will not be allowed a re-run.

This is not a rulebook, nor is it an all-inclusive guide. These are only basic parameters.

CHAMPIONSHIPS: While this is not a short term option, after we've done a reasonable amount of balancing, we'd like to offer a championship spread over a few months, allowing drivers to earn points towards the title of the champion of their respective GTPDRS class. We will have more information on this as it develops further.

If you are interested or have questions, please either PM me or leave a reply below.
