Hmmm good point. I guess that because I misunderstood the whole gearing thing that I put 330 instead of 310 I couldn't go passed 320. Maybe I honestly drove good. I am impressed with my time and I believe the McLarens cannot be beat. I drove the McLarens with this spec before I practiced Motegi. They are blinding fast. I know the 1045kg weight is the max but I seriously think that for them to be equal to the rest of the field that there should be a power restriction. I almost broke the 0.55.9 barrier with it. I with my Viper took many runs to achieve the 56.6. The fastest lap I have set was at lap 14 when I had put on a softer compound. Otherwise my laps had all been in the 58 second range. My strategy and skill have paid off. And I know I am not a cheater.

I was reaching just 305 at thr Ring, while DLRgian could reah 316 with his 330. I've checked that up. The limit is 310 for Viper and 320 for Vette. It's just rules, why it is so hard to follow them?

About changes... This is your brothers words:
"Then if the Viper is that much dis-advantaged, then I think some action should be taken with the McLarens..."

Also... You know... I don't want to deal with someone who post some offends, and then edit post. I've seen that your post Giancarlo before editing... I've seen it... I don't like when words are cleared.

I don't know what will Racecar do with both you. Disqualifier, or let you do this way...but... I will follow all the rules anyway, and I hope most of the entries will agree with me. I can prove my time, and I will do so. You can do whatever you like...

So then basically if I win, that means I am cheating. And that also means I got some type of contract stating I cannot win.

Also is there a fricken echo in here because I swear michael is repeating everything you say.

Because I thought we had cleared the "Gearing" I mean, transmission issue a long time ago? As it was supposed to be stated instead of "Gearing".

First of all i have done nothing offensive or wrong to anyone, i have followed the rules since the pre season. Second all i have done is suggested a rule change in the interest of faiiness and common sense. Take a look at the panoz's tops speed, 360 kph. Why would anyone in the right mind have there gears setup at 360 kph at motegi? Same with the mclarens at 340. Its way to high for almost any of the remaining tracks. As for proving our times, i have saved every replay, my cousin (not brother) is now saving all of his, race and qualifying, so if we ever do get a maxdrive we can then prove, but if you want to see so badly, you can send over ur maxdrive to one of us. Thers no disqualifications happening here, and i can bet my spot in this series that RACECAR will agree with me 100% on what i have suggested once he gets online.

quite the discussion. Wish I had time to read it all. I just want to know what everyone's times were in the results. please? maybe?

My time is for the final result is -
15.37.261

Got my fastest lap on Lap 14 when my tires got their temperature.

I see that you guys are having a very heated debate. may I suggest that you guys just calm down? and to a fellow GT Veteran(that would be DLRgian), C-H-A-R-G-E-R was just curious(as was I) as to how you got you viper to drive that well and you seem to have mistaken it as him accusing you of cheating. as Famine said, you could made a much nicer response. you're an experienced GT Player so you shouldn't be offended by questions like that. now, let us just put this rather pointless conflict to the side and do what us fellow racers do best: Race!

Ya your right buddy, I did take it wrong. So here I am with my appologies to CHARGER. I'm sorry guy for reading it the wrong way and saying what I said.

BTW: The Viper and Camaro is my favourite cars, I mean I got over thousands of KM on them with me driving and those are the cars. I always challenge myself too. TCS is not your friend when you have soft tires.

I think that it is clear that I don't mention any offends and don't call anyone a cheater. That was just a friendly question. I'm respecting all competitors and wish all them good luck in racing for the future... We found out some things about max speed and that is enough. I'm tired of all this and looking forward to do my best on stage 2...

Congrats to those on the podium ! ... Hmmm whats wrong with my M3 ? .. or is it the driver ?

Think its the M3. Let me go check it out.

Well its 2nd heaviest in GT2.

I think it's all a question of preferences. I know M3 very well because of our numerous friendly racers on Nur there with NIGHT MICHAEL. It's a great car.👍 The reason I took Nissan is that I know how to drive it with tyrewear. It was my first racing car in GT Mode, and I drove it for a very long time, before Minolta was opened. I've been testing all cars in both classes and I can say that BMW has "best" tyrewear. When I kill my front tyres on my Nissan they are still good on BMW. Also I know that BMW is pretty on city stages. I remember how hard it was to turn there on Nissan while it was good to drive there on BMW. The fastest one is Camaro. I run great laps on it, so it's the best one in qualify. But it's front tyres becomes red even faster then on my Nissan, and my agressive racing stile makes it's tyrewear even worse. Maybe someone could drive it for long time, but that is not me. So I think it's all about current track, driver's skills, tactics and luck. Also, there's some "car-looking" choice. For example I don't like Lister at all, cause it lookes to me like the ugliest racing car ever. I can't even imagine myself on it for the whole season. So I even have not tested it. No, no, please

I't be interesting to see the tyre choice/pit strategy per entrant for each race .
I used RH/RH { i think for 10 laps } and then slipped into RS/RS for the final laps at the High Speed Ring .

Love the Nissan ; have driven many miles in it .. thought i'd try the M3 for a change , though i'm yet to get more than 50 laps in it :) .. guess some lessons from Balls would be helpfull .
