I enjoyed my little Razz around the Portuguese countryside in my Clio. A hard hit on SS1 almost finished it before I had hardly started but after that all was fine.

You're too kind. You are always at the top as well and I noticed you seem to excel in the FWD cars. Should be another good battle for the title.
Strong start to the title defence.

I rolled the Renault Clio 10 seconds into the first stage. Remarkably, it didn't suffer that much damage and it was the only major error I made for the whole rally. The car is a lot of fun to drive and I really enjoyed sending it through the massive rocks.

Round 1 of GTPRC S2 is complete, and the multi surface Portugese rally has been kind to the entrants, with 100% of the starters reaching the finish in the nimble S1600 cars. @RYAN proved why he is the reigning champion with a an excellent drive in his Clio to take the victory, almost 20 seconds faster than @Dreadmed also in the Clio. In P3, a further 3 seconds back, @ZeroTheNorth in his Puma getting off to a very strong start.

Round 2 of the GTPRC S2 takes us to Sweden, just in time for the real WRC Swedish round. These little S1600s will be bouncing off the limiters on the fast sections, scrambling up the hills and nose diving off the jumps. Caution needs to be taken in these deceivingly fast cars.

Round 2 is complete, and Sweden proved a difficult test for the little S1600 cars, the twitchy nature of the FWD pocket rockets being exaggerated on the spiked snow tyres. @RYAN continued his title defense with another brilliant victory, guiding his Clio to a 27 second victory over @ZeroTheNorth in the Puma. @space_wadet edged out @Cabelmania and @Speedster502 for the final podium place, just 2.6 seconds separating the 3 drivers.

Round 3 of GTPRC S2 puts us on the dusty gravel of Mexico, with 5 challenging, mountainous stages to grapple with, the S1600 cars will have to use every bit of their power whilst the drivers will need to rely on building momentum to keep a strong time on the board. Plus with one less service than usual, care needs to be taken ahead of the Power Stage.

Itinerary
Long service
SS1: Alfaro - 8km
SS2: Derramadero - 7.2km

Medium Service
SS3: Mesa Cuata - 8.8km
SS4: San Diego - 5.8km
Power Stage - Guanajuatito - 10.6km

Round 3 is complete, Mexico proved tough for the S1600 cars, but just 25 seconds separated the top 5 by the end. This time it was @space_wadet who took victory at the wheel of the Clio, a fine performance, 13 seconds clear of @Cabelmania in his Saxo. Championship leader @RYAN bought his Clio home in P3 for a solid podium.

Round 4 of the GTPRC S2 takes us to the GTPlanet Clubs favorite event, Mediterraneo. Based in the treacherous mountain roads of Corsica, this is a rally of attrition. Drivers need to be wary of tightening apex', sheer drops, and barely believable high speed sections.

SS2: Serra di Cuzzioli - 7.7km

Medium Service
SS3: Moltifao - 11.2km

@RYAN won the power stage for the bonus points, ahead of @Cabelmania @space_wadet @Speedster502 and @Dreadmed .

Chile exposed the lower power of these cars, with the steep hills and altitude draining them of their pace. @RYAN took win number 5 of the season after a tight battle with @Dreadmed & @space_wadet with less than 10 seconds separating the top 3. @UKMikey broke into the top 10 to score his first GTPRC points in the Clio ad in doing so, qualifying for manufacturer points as well.

@space_wadet extracted everything they could to take the power stage win ahead of @Cabelmania @RYAN @Dreadmed and @Hasnain282 .

The championship goes to the final event, but only perfection from @space_wadet will be enough to topple @RYAN 's dominance.

Clio is definitely the S1600 car for me. After coming a cropper in the C2, Saxo and Puma I'm supergluing my butt to the driving seat of the Renault for future events in this class. Unfortunately I didn't have Estelle Skornik as my co-driver, though.

Thanks for the rundown.
