I have a iPhone 4S. It sometimes doesn't load pages but all I have to do is leave the page & reopen it. & sometimes you click on next page & it gives some message & stays on the same page but that's fixed by pressing refresh page. It used to totally reset when watching videos then leaving the app, & on return it would restart the app, but now is actually fixed for me.

Sorry for the issues - there are several problems with the app on iOS 6; an update is in the works, so please keep an eye out for that soon.

It's ok man. I am on iOS 6 & not finding the not loading pages that bad. It was like that before too. I know it doesn't load a page when I get a text message & that's understandable, but it sometimes just doesn't load a page first time you try it. & ok, I will.

i am now getting repeatd notifications for messages/subscribed threads when no on has replied/posted

sometimes up to 20 notifications.. killed my phone last night

I'm very sorry about that, guys; it's related to the problems discussed here.

I have just disabled GTPlanet's server from sending any more notifications to the Forum Runner service, which is what is currently experiencing the problems that caused the notifications to be sent to your devices so frequently.

Please let me know if you receive any further messages. Some may be left in Forum Runner's queue, but they should all be flushed out of their system in the next few hours or so.

I don't want to sound ungrateful but, however, the app is now spamming me all the time. There are definitely no new replies in this thread since almost 24 hours...yet, it keeps spamming me with the notification every 5-10 minutes.

Not a biggie, just wanted to let you know.

It's doing this to me too. Not as much though. Last night I unsubscribed from the thread & it just sent me a notice about a new post this morning.

I'm very sorry; it appears that all of the notifications which are still being sent out are very old, but at least no new notifications are being added to their system. There's nothing I can do about this because the problems are with the Forum Runner push notification service. They are ignoring my complaints and I will be terminating my relationship with them when their contract is up for renewal.

Once again, I advise you to simply turn off notifications from the GTPlanet app and disable notifications from the Forum Runner service as I described here.

Just wanted to add: I'm on iOS 5.1.1 and I keep getting notified about messages I received a week ago, it happens maybe once every three hours. It plays the alert three times but, of course, I don't have any new messages. I'm turning notifications off as Jordan suggested, I've tried reinstalling the app but it didn't help.

Me too on the same iOS 5.1.1
On top of that, I also get the Parse error message very frequently...
Then I tried all suggestions above, none seem to solve it but it seems to be coming less frequently now..

I had to turn it off too. It woke me up at 6:15 in the morning about a old post. lol

I don't understand why people use the ios app to view gtplanet, using safari you can view the site, post etc. easily, i also think gtplanet should stop forcing users to get the ios app which is buggy and not user friendly.

The good news is that the updated version of the app, 1.6.0, is currently being reviewed by Apple and should become available soon.
