Lots of you are already members of the GTP Facebook group that Jamie started earlier this year, and it's already got more than 152 members. 👍 Now, I've also started a GTPlanet Facebook Page, which will provide more up-to-the-minute news headlines from the site. Much like your friend's updates, some of the postings will show up on the main FB news feed that you see when you log in, so you can stay on top of everything going on here.

Just click "Become a Fan" near the top of this page - that's it. I'll be promoting this page around the site, so it should grow quickly. The hope is that, ultimately, you'll be able to browse the fans list to more easily find other GTP members in your local area or at your own school/university.

Thanks to everyone for supporting the FB page so quickly - we had to get 100 fans in order for me to secure the "gtplanet" username on the site so the page could be accessed at http://facebook.com/gtplanet. Considering someone squatted the site's name on Twitter, I was a bit nervous about that happening again. (Facebook pages were not able to acquire usernames until this morning.)
 
Good job! 👍 As said, Its good your moving beyond the forum/site. Social networking at its best!

Became a fan. :)

And sadly the same applies for me, my friends are all on there and we've all left school now and starting to head in different directions, so essentially it's a good way to keep in contact, without using text and phone calls.
 
I decided to log onto Facebook yesterday and went to suggestions to see if any friends from the past could be on the list. First suggestion on my list from FB was GTPlanet, to become a fan! :D Done & done. 👍
