GTPlanet Quick Drive Review: Maserati Grecale Trofeo

The Grecale is probably the most important Maserati on sale, representing the entry point to trident ownership. Starting at a little over £60,000 it’s the least costly car in the range and is, of course, a family-friendly crossover SUV; if you want to capture sales from other brands, you need one of these in your offerings...

It is indeed very difficult to dislike. Although the 32mpg is very, and i mean very untrue haha. Best i’ve gotten with careful driving was like 26. Though normally in sport mode you are looking at mid teens. People will cry its just a Stellantis product, but coming from an Alfa Giulia to this was such a humongous tech upgrade, and i’m smiling with every mile!

To be fair, the official WLTP economy of the GT is 32.4mpg Imperial, which is 26.9mpg US, so you're not far off

The Trofeo's 25.2 converts to 20.9; it was going down a bit quicker than that, but then it was a press car and they get... treated differently...

Oooh, good call on the conversion 🤣!

Don't tell me that Maserati are actually making good cars.

Let’s hope they’ve gotten their **** together for this car! Although I’ve had two Quattro porte’s in the past and yes they have had problems but really not that bad at all
