I think it's fair to say that I've seen GTPlanet grow this past year. And the actual Gran Turismo aspect has really died out for me. I visit GTPlanet to talk about cars, photoshop, lifestyle and most of all just to hang out with a great group of people.
Now what I want to know is how do you approach GTPlanet? As a Gran Turismo knowledge database, or a true all around lifestyle discussion group?
Fresh input:

Well I've seen a lot of users follow the same pattern I followed. You come here because you're into GT3 and you want to connect with others the same, but you quickly find out that there is so much more to these people than just GT3, and you start to connect with the people, rather than the people's discrete interests. Then you start to spend less and less time in the GT3 forum, because (a) you already know everything, and (b) you're tired of answering the same questions all the time, and so you move on to other forums.
It is more of a community than a GT3 love-in.

Ditto!Though I still have interests in GT3, I admittedly tend not to visit the GT3 forum everyday, because it's running amock with senseless posts. (...) I think everyone's telling the truth when they say that GTP is practically their second (or primary!) home.
