I've never approached GTPlanet as a Gran Turismo forum. I'm a whore and came here when granturismo.com went down.

I guess i see this place as a place to screw around and piss off as many people as I can.

And you're damned good at it too. :)

well, i found this place by accident when I was looking for GT2 stuff. I thought it was really cool and I had never been on a forum before so I joined. it was a good experience and now i'm part of about 10 forums, but this is the one I come to more than any of them. it's also the website i visit most.

i havn't picked up GT2 in months, last time I did the graphics were terrible compared to what i have come accustomomed to (NFS4 and SCGT on PC) and I just couldn't play it. Now I come here mainly for the rumble strip, but also for the car and GTA forum parts.

also, I'll say it in this post, you did a great job Jordan, and I hope it remains for a long time! :D

same with me only i was looking for gt3 hacking sites (i have no idea how it got this site)
and i see it as a lifestlye type place thingy

well.i was on the tangoman site and i see a link to this site and since that day i never go away,in my case was diferent cuz i don't like join sites in the net (in fact this is the only site i join in whole net)
i pass like 1/3 months before i join the site, but since that time i come everyday (every)

and yes i think :gtp: is more than just a gt site is a home for me,i mean here we have so many people's who allways are ready for help you,(in every aspec of your life) and a lot of persons are realy friendly and helpful, (atlest wit me) in :gtp: i can ask to anyone for help (no matter how stupid is the question) and get one answer .(90 % of the time i got it so quickly)

i love :gtp:
thanks to jordan for make the best site in the whole net

I found GTP while looking for info on how to tune cars. I still can't tune worth a **** but now I hang out more in the rumble strip than in the GT2 forum (that's right GT2).

This site keeps me occupied at work.

And GranTurismo.com is a joke. Those people are so rude and the "moderators" are little tyrants.

Heh, I like rudeness. I'm sure they're all joking anyway. At least that's how I take it.

Haven't posted there as much since I was banned.

There are an abundance of ways to indicate one is only jokingly being rude. It's pretty easy. And I did not see that there.

Actually, I think I am banned, too. I have two PM's to read there and I'm sure they're from the moderator I laid into this morning just because he was an arrogant ninny with some kind of Hitler complex. :D

Nope. Not banned yet.

You have had enough? So what? Are your personal preferences the rule? Closing the thread without your egotistical "last words" would've sufficed. What is it with you moderators? These GT sites are a dime a dozen. Get over yourself.

The Response:
excuse me.
thanks for your wise words on how i should and shouldn't close threads. i'll be sure and bare it in mind for the future.

the thread in question, from it's very first post, was utter rubbish. it has caused alot more trouble than the sum of it's value.

i posted the reason it was closed in the end as i'd let it run, when maybe i shouldn't have - as it was it had strayed way, way off topic, as i said.
may i ask you a question? why are you at this particular dime-a-dozen GT site?

you have the choice to go where ever you like on the internet - if you don't like our/my style - then don't let me keep you.

still trying to get over myself

skiddo - the moderating egomaniac.
