Track: Apricot Hill - 2.40 miles (3.86km)
Deadline: December 7 @ 5p CST (GMT -6)
After a grueling race at le Sarthe, GTPLMS drivers come back to the tight, twisting confines of Apricot Hill Raceway. Used to long, fast corners, LMS drivers are greeted here by technical esses, blazing straights, and tight hairpins, all while on a rollercoaster of hills and valleys. Tire management will be key for this week's race, and tire-engineers will be at a premium.

All rules, car specifications, race procedures, and regulations are controlled by GTMSA. All questions should be directed to the race steward (ICallShotgun) and answers will be given in a timely manner.
Any lap times discussed or anything able to infer lap times are strictly prohibited. A 5 second penalty will be assessed for each instance of a lap time being discussed as judged by the Chief Steward.
This being said, sector times, or T-times, are allowed to be discussed.
Standard OLR rules apply
No cheats, hybrids, etc.
Two wheels on track at all times.
Rumble strips are part of the track
Don't touch the walls, they slow you down.
You must run cars to the given GTMSA specifications as seen below.
Qualifying (Hotlap)
Qualifying will take place in Arcade mode-->Time Trial-->Original Courses-->Apricot Hill
Any tires are allowed (R1-R5) and any combination of tires.
TCS ONLY is available IF DESIRED, it is not mandatory
Gearing is free.
Race (18 laps)
Race will take place in Arcade Mode-->Single Race-->Original Courses-->Apricot Hill
AI settings will be 8-10 for ALL classes.
AI will race on RS tires.
Tires are limited to RH, RM, RS or any combination ONLY.
TCS ONLY is available IF DESIRED, it is not mandatory
Gearing is free
Tirewear is set to STRONG
Penalty is set to FORCED PIT ENTRY
These races are long. Small incidents will occur with the AI. These are racing incidents and are allowed by GTMSA. Besides, if something bad happens, you're going to want to re-start anyway.

I've been pretty lenient on late-time submissions, but it REALLY screws me up in getting the results out in a timely manner the way I like to do them. So, that being said...
Press Release
It is the decision of the Chief Steward of GTPLMS, that eginning with Round 6, any late submissions for times will still be accepted, but a penalty will be assessed to the RACE TIME. The penalty shall equal 1 minute additional race time per hour late. Example: If the time submission is due on 12/8 at 5p, and you send it in on 12/8 at 6:45p, there will be a 1m45s penalty added to your race time.
A 3 hour maximum for late-submission will be instituted as well, with any time received more than 3 hours after deadline will NOT be accepted and the driver will receive a Did Not Start.

It feels so damn good to finally have it done and out of the way! Will concentrate on the race tomorow.
) everything went pretty well. There is still more time to get but I dont think I have the energy to do anymore running with this car so sent my times in for it. I enjoyed every moment of racing this R8 around Apricot Hill! Now onto the McLaren
