Sometimes, I really can't believe myself. I was going to come in here and write that I had finished a GTS run that wasn't quite as fast or neat as the one that went wrong but it may have turned out better overall because of shrewder pitting and much more aggressiveness in passing the AI for the first time (still 100% cleanly, however). I must have jinxed myself, because as I came in to make my final pit stop on worn tires, I tried to avoid needless braking and instead ran just wide enough to catch the edge of the grass on the pit entry lane, which meant the car would no longer steer and I ran straight into the end of the pit wall. :dunce: I thought I would get away with only a harmless penalty on the next lap because the crash had occurred after the point at which the autodrive would take over if you had gotten a penalty. Unfortunately, however, it drove me straight through the pits without offering me the tire/fuel/mode selection screen. :banghead: This time, I knew I had nowhere near enough fuel to finish the lap and would have had red tires, so I was forced to turn around and drive the wrong direction on the front straight to get back to the pits. :ouch: In all, the incident cost me nearly a minute, and I would be lucky to come away with a win this time. I am most definitely not doing another run that I hope will be better but would probably just mess up again, because I couldn't stand driving this car on this track for yet another hour and a half.

That happened to me on Motegi. Only I wasn't smart enough to turn around like you. I wasn't familar on the pits etc. Didn't realize it was a Penalty Pit. Didn't make much diff. though. Still would have come in last.

Forgot all about qualifying. Unfortunately, I think this and the next round may be the last time I race on GT4 anymore. I've had a hard time remembering to do these races and due to my online league racing as well as the anticipation of GT5, I've found it very hard to concentrate on racing in this series.

Both races done. Times submitted. Ran GTS a 2nd time to get rid of 2 penalty pits. No penalties. Knocked off a whole 15 secs. Boy am I satisfied. LOL. Didn't realize that except for the penalties I drove pretty well(for me)the first race.

Sorry to hear that, Austin and Racecar :(

Time submitted, since I won't be re-running it. I should, since I lost focus and drove terribly for the second half of the race (then amazingly set a new fastest lap. Talk about diamond in the rough!), but I don't think I will have time. Good work oldmodelt 👍

Time Sent. Had a pretty good run. I got pushed off the track once by the AI on the exit of 130R, and I had a couple lapses in concentration that ended up with me in the sand traps, only lost about 6 or 7 seconds all up from these incidents combined though. Was hoping to have one more try at this before the dealine as im not sure my strategy was the best, and I feel I could probably wipe another 10 - 15 seconds off my total time, but I just dont have the time or will power to do this race one more time, so im hoping and praying what ive done is enough to beat Austin.

Good luck all 👍

I've submitted my times for this race, as well as those for the next round's qualifying and race (run with a 5% weight penalty). east, as usual, you have nothing to worry about from what I can tell about my run. As always, the consistency was lacking and some fairly small mistakes added up. At Fuji, I made few mistakes, but at such an easy track, I was disappointed with both my speed and consistency. At least I think I qualified well considering the hefty weight handicap, and used a good strategy in the race. Have fun in the next round, and I'll see you all in the Round 7 results. 👍

times sent; but for the first time i got a lot of trouble with the darn AI. at both hairpin curve (1 time) and casio triangle (2 times) with the camaro and one time at casio again with the pescarolo. The AI just use me for braking and i got penalised for a total of 7-8 minutes on the camaro and bout 1 1/2 min on the pesc.... my question.. why the penalties if i was the one who got trashed by the stupid AI?????

In all honesty, I feel your pain. On my runs I had to be careful when trying to move up in the pack. Esp. the first 2-3 laps. AI would almost always punt me into the car ahead resulting in the penalty for me only! I just resigned myself to waiting until the 2nd lap when I could get by and far enough ahead to prevent them from catching up.

Not giving the AI cars a good line to draft on the 2 staights helped a ton. They can't match our braking or lines. Won by a lot in the LMP class. You were right Abud about the improvement in my driving. Practice may not make perfect. But it does make it much better.

Well i managed to get a second run at this having got back home earlier today. It's better than before (really not hard) but still far from great. Picked up a pit penalty on the penultimate lap :banghead:.

**Times submitted**

Times Submitted. Two spins in turn 1! The second time, I thought to myself I can't spin again and sure enough I do.
GL to everybody. 👍

Any of you consider this round as this season's Chibi Le Mans? :D

Not going to have time to do the race. Good luck to everyone else though!

Question for ABud, Will I keep my qualifying point if i don't do the race?

Times sent (barely). I was actually able to pull my most perfect run ever. Might have been due to the laps I did around the track earlier on GT5P, but I made no mistakes, posted consistant lap after consistant lap and luckily caught traffic in key place where I could get by with no trouble. Very optimistic this time around.

Actually, assuming that you sent your times just a few minutes ago, you're several hours late. The deadline is 11:59 PM GMT, not 11:59 PM local time. The deadline for you was 6:59 PM.

The time I posted, it was long after I sent my times in.

Yeah you keep your quali points.

Results will be up as soon as i've had one time confirmed.
