Track: Grand Valley Speedway - 3.07miles (4.91km)
Deadline: December 14 @ 5p CST (GMT -6)​

Grand Valley plays host to Round 7 of LMS competition. With more 1-2 combinations than a boxing match, Grand Valley will pummel the driver with quick, sharp left-rights combos throughout the track, jab them with 2 hairpins and the tunnel carosel, and throw some bodyshots in along the long, blazing fast main straight. All drivers can expect some bruises and sore bodies after going 14 rounds with this beast. Good luck all.

Rules and Regulations

All rules, car specifications, race procedures, and regulations are controlled by GTMSA. All questions should be directed to the race steward (ICallShotgun) and answers will be given in a timely manner.

Any lap times discussed or anything able to infer lap times are strictly prohibited. A 5 second penalty will be assessed for each instance of a lap time being discussed as judged by the Chief Steward.
This being said, sector times, or T-times, are allowed to be discussed.

Standard OLR rules apply
No cheats, hybrids, etc.
Two wheels on track at all times.
Rumble strips are part of the track
Don't touch the walls, they slow you down.
You must run cars to the given GTMSA specifications as seen below.

Qualifying (Hotlap)
Qualifying will take place in Arcade mode-->Time Trial-->Original Courses-->Grand Valley Speedway (Full Forward)
Any tires are allowed (R1-R5) and any combination of tires.
TCS ONLY is available IF DESIRED, it is not mandatory
Gearing is free.

Race (14 laps)
Race will take place in Arcade Mode-->Single Race-->Original Courses-->Grand Valley Speedway (Full Forward)
AI settings will be 8-10 for ALL classes.
AI will race on RS tires.
Tires are limited to RH, RM, RS or any combination ONLY.
TCS ONLY is available IF DESIRED, it is not mandatory
Gearing is free
Tirewear is set to STRONG
Penalty is set to FORCED PIT ENTRY
These races are long. Small incidents will occur with the AI. These are racing incidents and are allowed by GTMSA. Besides, if something bad happens, you're going to want to re-start anyway.

After a grueling race at le Sarthe, GTPLMS drivers come back to the tight, twisting confines of Apricot Hill Raceway. Used to long, fast corners, LMS drivers are greeted here by technical esses, blazing straights, and tight hairpins, all while on a rollercoaster of hills and valleys. Tire management will be key for this week's race, and tire-engineers will be at a premium.

GTS and GT qualifying done for Shotgun Racing. The BMW is a real handful on qualifying tires, very twitchy, while the Snake just wants to swap ends under braking (ps, don't trailbrake a viper!). Prototype qualifying up next, and then onto the races.

P2 qualifying in the books. Wow, this is not going to be a good race for me. The Intersport C60 is so easy to unbalance, especially in the 1st technical section after the second hairpin, that it took me the better part of 25 laps to lay a good one down, as opposed to the normal 10. Not looking forward to trying to string 14 laps together.

Times sent .. Grand Valley is hard on the LM1 Audi but the LM2 BMW really had a great time .

RL 'duties' have restricted Del over the last 2 weeks .. and will continue to do so for the next 2 weeks .

I'm in a panic, my DFP broke, trying to find another one. No way can I use the DS2, haven't used it for 2 years for driving. If I can get one tomorrow that'll give me 1 day to do 2 quali's and 2 races....crap!!!!!!

it might be your driving style. sometimes you can't drive the same way on one track you drove on another.

Andy ... I know what you're going thru... had to buy a wheel just to finish the end of Season 2 in JGTC

As for me and the "Squirrel" .... I'm doing a one stopper, with a decent one in the bank 👍 I'll be trying a different gearing next, as I think I can shave a few more seconds off in the tech sectors.

For some reason, this car and I get along.... pretty consistant laps and tyre wear ... not really pushing hard and staying smooth.

Now, if only the dreaded Neil could find something to hinder him this week

Got absolutely NO racing done.

All sorted out now, so hopefully, will be able to cobble something together before the deadline tonight.

Got two races and two quali's in! Finally!

Not sure how they will stack up, but just for info........

Ran RM/RM in the RX with ONE stop!
Ran RM/RH in the Mac with ONE stop!
Totally WRS clean both races and quali's, might even post up my replays for a change.
Depends how well I have done.

As for Shotgun Racing, the 'Valley wasn't very kind this week. I think DrewpyBalls is safe from me for another week. Let me get back to a wide open track like Fuji or LeMans or Infineon (wide open?) and we'll see, but these too twisty tracks are killing me.

My qual time could've been better, as I didn't put much into that, and only got to run the race a couple of times

One stopper? Methinks I'm in deep doo-doo, again. I ran a two-stop race with RS-RS set up for the last 3-4 laps with all my attempts this week.
