Hey All;
After mulling the idea over in my head over the past few weeks i think i've come up with a new championship that could be intriguing (damn my spelling) and something (slightly) new in the Online race series.
Its SORT OF like the Budget Tuning challange, expect that i give you a buget at the start of the season, and you can buy ANY car, make ANY mods to it you like. However, as you win races (or come in places in the top 10) then you win money, and this can be used to upgrade your car any time throughout the season.
I know this sounds like the Buget Tuning car challenge, apart from the fact that you can only use your prize money to modify your car. This should see cars getting faster and faster as the season progresses until we get into Budgets that allow you to buy the Class C cars.
However, once the season is over, i will be making up new REGULATIONS!! Basically i will be doing things such as limiting the HP of a car, the modifications you can do to a car (like no more that Level 2 NA tune ups, no racing chips etc etc) and perhaps the lowest ride height allowed (say, from 70 to 80). I know this would be extreamly hard to keep tabs on, but i expect you not to cheat so we can have the fairest racing possible.
I have not drawn a calaender up yet, simply because i do not know if anyone is interested yet. If you are, please PM me and i will add you to the list of racers interested. PM simply because i would like to keep this thread as uncluttered as possible. If i get, say, 10 racers interested, then i iwll start the season, probably late Januray to Early Feburary.
OLR rules will apply during this series;
Do not post any times at all, in order to keep suspense until the resaults are posted;
Do not touch the walls;
Don't wall ride, its just stupid
Don't take shortcuts
Don't grass or track cut
Don't use hybrids
Don't cheat
Please, save your replay, not that i expect you to cheat, but because throughout the season i will be doing "random" checks to make sure that you are posting the times you say you have. You can be checked any number of times throughout a season, you could finish in last place and i could check you, you do save replays.
