Ok, ok I'm new and have looked over many many threads and found conflicting information regarding setting my suspension for Indy drags. I always spin 1st gear no matter what I do!!! Currently I'm running 1st gear as tall as possible. I've tried high rear- big spring rate and dampers with a low stiff front. I've swapped it over in reverse e.t.c and adjusted everything many times. I even went as far as detuning it to 600bhp and slowly increasing bhp to see when it actually spins and trying to adjust settings as I go yet still have issues.
I've played around with all components of the drive train any tips?? I would be very grateful It's doing my head in
I have lots of cars and would reimburse for the right suspension setup - my trans ratios are very good so I'm happy there unless I play around with 1st then I'll fix them if need be. Thanks in advance p.s I'm not after a full tune or anything just good advice for maximum grip when launching.
