got this big baby to 9.076, cant get faster :( i tried tuning the trans but i'm not able to get a better score. i am using the driving force gt. i think dragging with a driving wheel is a little bit slower than a controller ? a friend get to 8.890 with a car and the best i could had was 8.957..

my suspension is :

-20/40
20/17
6/8
4/6
the rest is stock

drivetrain is set to 45/55 and 60/60/5 witch i think is the best..

i am working on my trans now

anyone know the shiftpoint ?

Your drivetrain is fine

Tranny lower ts all the way, set final around 3.430-3.470 I think, I can't remember off the top of my head, and put the ts up one and then back down all the way then raise 5th and 6th all the way, and lower final all the way, then lower first all the way , raise 2nd a little bit, and raise 3rd almost all the way then 4th all the way and you can adjust from there.

Just make sure you don't have a wing, and you are fully upgraded and you have racing soft tires, and you have 954 hp

got 9.022 this time! ill do 80 turn of daytona and ill try again -_- thanks you jd ! had a wing, ill remove it.
 
2.08 didn't affect most 4wd's, including the LMQ, it actually made 1 faster

before 2.08 they could run 8.8's. now, I dont think its possible.

My tune ran 8.920s on 2.08 on automatic and I went back today and ran it and kept only getting 8.955. The new update had to have effected it seeing as I have not ran any races with it.

Flip it at 3.436, thats all i remember. I'll give you my 8.910 tune tomorrow as I'm not near my ps3 right now.
 
Just search my fraternity187 drag tunes on YouTube... I give away an 8.9 tune on that... You can follow those settings exactly... Also note that a full throttle launch on the GTR '12 is about 0.030s slower than a timed launch.

Ya i tried your tunes, but i always got like .100 seconds more than you.. I tried it with the gr no stripe, my aventadore and the black edition but I did it on my Zr1 and another and they work very well.

Then either your cars need broken in, or you're not launching/shifting correctly..?

All those times I achieve in the video are using the exact tune I apply in the video. Make sure all your cars are fully broken in (ie. >200 miles on the engine)... as if they're not broken in - they may lack up to 30bhp!

RE: Launch/Shift, I tend to do an Timed/RPM Launch. A full throttle from black screen launch is (usually) slower than a timed launch. Make sure you launch at the same time/rpm as I do in the video, and if you shift at the same rpms then you should definitely achieve the same, or a similar time.

Some cars are harder to consistently nail than others... The GTR, Viper, ZR1, Enzo, etc are pretty easy and consistent. I find the Lambos and the ZZII took me a couple of times to perfect...

theyre broke in. i try to shift exactly like you do but maybe i go wrong
