Repost.red7It seems GTR is on its way for 360. Haven't seen or played it for pc yet but the general opinion is that its an unrivaled sim, the real deal. For those who have the pc version what can I expect from this game and could it rival forza and or gran turismo?
You heard wrong. The physics aren't as bad as GT's though.from what I heard, GTR is a hardcore racecar sim, and supposedly, the cars handle exactly in the game like in real life.

To answer your question, from what I heard, GTR is a hardcore racecar sim, and supposedly, the cars handle exactly in the game like in real life. I wouldn't say it's a competitor for Forza or Gran Turismo, though.
But since most everyone will be using a controller, and the few X360 wheels on the market have 200º rotation (as opposed to the 900º rotation of the DFP), GTR will probably feel too hardcore and hard to handle for people.![]()

By ''most people'' I hope you mean arcade racers.MdnIteThis game is guaranteed good sim physics.
However I'm not too sure about it's selling potential. Most gamers would want a pick up and play game. Most people will be turned off by the difficulty.
It's not going to be dumbed down.. There going to do it like the PC version.. Which is very fun.. Just not my type, I like GT's kind of mode.red7I hope that gtr doesn't come with dumbed down physics just to please the masses. We need atleast one hardcore, no frills sim for a console. I've seen pretty visuals and more are sure to come but I really want to delve into a comprehensive, and rather serious sim personally.
