There are 6 'endurance races'. For this 6 race stretch we will be offering points in two different categories each race to teams. At the half way point and the checkered flag, drivers in the 1st-5th positions will be given X amount of points for that place (see table below for full details). Only the top 2 drivers for a given team can receive points. Here is the point distribution:


For the 1.5 Hour races

1st - 5
2nd - 4
3rd - 3
4th - 2
5th - 1

For the 2 hour race

1st - 10
2nd - 8
3rd - 6
4th - 4
5th - 2

These points will be awarded to the teams who occupy these positions. But only the top 2 cars can count so if a team occupys lets 1-3 at one of the time intervals then only the top 2 will count. So under this system the most points one team can make in a race is 18 points (running 1st and 2nd at the half way point and at the checkered.) This puts a nice twist on the owners championship and also puts some emphasis on these endurance races.

Definitely disappointed to hear that pal. Hopefully more people here in the forums would be interested in our awesome series
 
too bad you can't join us immortal. We've been running this series for like 3 years now, just hoping we can get some great drivers who have respect for racing others on the track. thats why we are now just getting over on here to GTP, the best clean racers are here. We are a more casual race series but are still very competitive and strict on the racing rules. Our schedule's are long but thats just our own format. Kind of a NASCAR touch to somethings but the races are still condoned to road racing rules for the most part. Everybody has a chance to win throughout the season by design.
 
Yeah definitely! All of the time we have put into this league has made it a really good series. It's definitely worth your guys time! :)
 
Should be exciting, and nice update for the LMP series Shagg:tup:

All are welcome to join into the showdown race prior to the main event, like Shagg said winner of the showdown race gets in with the all-stars of the LMPs.

And there is specific oval regulations for the cars so please inquire on it if you wanna have some fun.

Thanks Ron. Now with the GTP thread looking as professional as our website, we can continue to prove how great the GTRRL is. Going to be intense racing tonight :nervous:

Ronin feel free to add me and shagg and join us for practice sometime, we're always doing something usually. Next race is at Daytona Road course. Also remember we race on racing mediums and qualify on softs and deadline for qualifying is thursday nights with one of our stewards.

Which car would you like to use. If there is a car that is owned by a team that you would like to use you can tryout for that team and join it. If not you can just pick a car that is not used.

I got your PM Shagg, I'd run this series, but too late start time for me. I'd be in ALMS racing by this time probably. Maybe next time.
 
I don't mind really what car it is, I usually use the 908. I guess I will try the BMW this time if that's alright?

Best Motorsports is actually looking for drivers in his 908 Team Total. So you could still use the 908

I have been in the GTRRL since basically the beginning, and it is a great racing league. It has grown so much over time and hopefully can continue to grow. Would love for some good clean drivers to join us here at the GTRRL.
 
Sorry I couldn't make practice last night, but I was in a league race. Also I think I will join Best Motorsports in the 908, and will try and qualy tonight if anyone is around.

No problem man. Ill be on later to get more practice in and if you decide to qualify then that's cool too. You have till Thursday night so no pressure.
