It is weird I brought this up, but what do you think Polyphony Digital will do for a 10th Anniversary celebration?
A franchise was in the making as a group of creators at Polyphony Digital would come up with a game that would be a big step in racing games since Pole Position, RC Pro Am, and Ridge Racer. The project was known as "Gran Turismo." And normally, I kind of hate when people say this, but, when PD thought their baby franchise wasn't going to sell, look at the reaction millions of devoted PS1 owners gave to PD over GT? Selling units worldwide, the series only got better and better. More cars, more tracks, rally racing, and now what started from the mid-late 1990s to sometime in the mid-late 2000s.
What do you think PD will do to celebrate 10 years of GT?
There are a few guesses I have:
(A) The 10th Anniversary of GT will be celebrated with the coming of the PS3 and GT5.
(B) The 10th Anniversary of GT will be celebrated with the coming of the PS3 and GT5, and will offer a bonus disk cram packing GTs 1, 2, and MAYBE 3 as well.
(C) PD will celebrate with a 10th Anniversary DVD-ROM containing the original GT with revamped graphics.
(D) PD will offer an interactive DVD showing some of the best and worst moments in development of the Gran Turismo Series
(E) None of the above
Or what do you think will happen once the 10th Anniversary rolls around? For example, The "Virtua Fighter" series celebrated with a 10th Anniversary version included in "VF4: Evolution," and you could play an old-school looking game of Virtua Fighter 4 with a little rendering. What could happen?
