GTTV Refund?

Directly after I got the update downloaded I went to GTTV to start downloading, bought a lot of movies but none of those have even started to download yet, a few hours later. I hope there will be some sort of refund. The short apology in the News section won't bring my payed videos to me...
 
same here im tempted to buy all the vids except top gear, im not paying 1 pound 60+ for episodes you can watch on dave for free, I woudnt mind but the second part of top gear is like 15 minitues when your paying for something with less content than the first part

As I understand it, the special price is valid for 14 days. The videos, once bought, stay forever. And since you have already paid, just haven't downloaded them yet, you don't have to worry about that.

Edit: Unfortunately, my understanding of the matter turned out to be incorrect. :(

The network problems are most unfortunate - I haven't been able to download the update yet. It seems that they were planning to address the issues this time, but for some reason it's going to have to wait for a firmware update. At least that's what I make out of this:

That's to be discussed though. Some say this, some say that. I'd very much like it to be the second way anyway. Does anyone have waterproof info on this then?

  • can you only watch a video you buy on GT-TV for 14 days or
  • can you watch them forever once you bought them, and the 14 days are referring to the special price ???
 
I downloaded 2 videos 7 hours ago and it's only at 10%, ridiculous. by the time my videos will be downloaded, the 14 days will be up :banghead:
 
After a few hours the ~800 MB SuperGT review '07 is at 26% with 20 Mbit ADSL, the update was done in 15 minutes :indiff:
 
I sure hope my videos stay, then i have nothing to worry about...

Yeah, now that I was finally able to get the update, I can confirm that this is in fact the case. :(

That kinda sucks, but oh well. I'll probably watch the Ferrari factory tour movies anyway. :)
 
I started the download of the Super GT review last night at about 11pm. I left my PS3 on all night and now, over 12 hours later, the percentage thingy in the top right of the screen is at 2%.

I'm not even going to have that in the 14 days (which is 13 now....)

My downloads boosted the last hours... I've downloaded over 3gb :)

I downloaded the GT-R another story in about 30 minutes.

You're referring to the fact that longer videos are split in two parts, I take it? It's not as bad as it seems - you just pay once and that gives you the right to download both parts. I know it's confusing as the price is listed separately below both, but I tested it just now.

And the download speeds seem to have improved today.
 
Mine is still going slowly.

I take it that it only downloads when Prologue is running?
 
So far I have downloaded the new GTR video, the Ferrari episode 1 video, and both parts of the best motoring video. No problems with download speeds.

Currently I am getting Option video, last night it was very slow, today it has been great.
