Inspired by the many "Guess that.." threads on here. As I didn't find one myself I've decided to create one. The rules are pretty similar to all the other "Guess that.." threads, only thing to be aware of is the 24 hour rule which means:

User A posts a riddle, e.g.: American Monaco.
User B answers Atlantica
User A must reply to the answer within 24 hours (or have a good excuse).
User B wins and has 24 hours from confirmation to claim his turn. After 24 hours, anyone will be allowed to post their riddle.

Games you are allowed to choose from (incl. official special versions and hidden tracks, not mods)
The NFS
NFS 2
NFS 3: Hot Pursuit
NFS 4: High Stakes/Road Challenge
NFS Porsche (unleashed/2000)
NFS Hot Pursuit 2

I'll post the first riddle to get this started:

Eagle Crest

Nice idea! Always love the older Need for Speeds.

Eagle Crest = Summit? (High Stakes)

Glad you like the idea.

The answer is close enough, I was thinking of Rocky Pass where you can hear an eagle when you drive on the backside of the mountain

What about cheat code tracks? like the fantastic tracks in NFS III: Hot Pursuit?

I believe they can be ok, as long as they have nothing to do with mods and are basically available for all pc versions.
Cheat code tracks? What tracks? Never heard of them..

Coxis may be talking about the Console version of Hot Pursuit. IIRC it had a separate selection of tracks to use from.
Also, Morten. What about having people continuously guess the track until someone has it right. Whoever guesses right get the next turn, so it doesn't really matter about a leaderboard. For instance:
User 1: Underwater
User 2: Autumn Hill (HP2)
User 1: No
User 3: Aquatica (HP1)
User 1: Correct!

And then it's User 3's turn to post a clue, picture or song (there were separate songs for separate tracks in Hot Pursuit 1).

I guess since Morten gave me the turn here's my clue:

Train

Ok, I'll kill the leaderboard, it's just for fun anyway :)

For my guess, Kindiak Park from High Stakes

Ding-Ding-Ding! You got it straight away :D

Remember playing that track with the only purpose to see what damage the train can make  gimme a minute or 2 to think of one

"I have a castle, a village and a mysterious road that might lead to a world famous racetrack"

If it can make this thread living again, the answer is Landstrasse from High Stakes, from what I can say from Google Earth it looks pretty similar to the cities around the Nürburgring, it has a castle that can refer to the Nürburg castle, and just after the exit of the village there's a road on your right that looks similar to one of the roads leading to the Nürburgring.

The PC and PS1 tracks were the same, I know because I own both versions. What I'm not sure of is if the secret tracks on the PS1 version are unlockable in the PC version as well. There were some fantastic tracks, like a toy car track in a kid's room where your cars were miniature, a space track an underwater track and others I can't remember. They were some serious fun.

Unfortunately I played some of these games soooo long ago I don't think I can play this game and succesfully guess anything, unless the track in question is from NFSIII, 'cause I played that game to death. It was my first PS1 game. In adition to III I own N4S:HS; I don't own 1 and 2.

Well, if you want you're free to make a riddle, although I think this will end as many of my other ideas: interesting in max. a week and then dead

Train... I can think of three tracks that have a train...

Canyon pass (or something?) from NFS3. It had an old-style steam train that passed on a rail high on the mountain.

We've guessed it but you may make one if you want

Nice idea Rallymorten, i'm a NFS fan as well. I have NFS 3, NFS HS and Porsche 2000, only those disks are a little scratched up. I'll participate, and I'd also like to ask if someone can post a torrent for NFS HS for me to download. World's most favorite pirating site is taken off the net here by some stupid copyright company so I can't download from there anymore.

Yep, you're right!

There's a yellow submarine in the aquarium tunnel.

Lol didn't remember, now tell me WHY THE 🤬 IS MY CD NOT WORKING :(

Easy one: Homerun

May I remind you that you can only post your own if the winner dies not claim his turn or failures to reply to the guesses? And yet none of this has happened
