I know it should belong to the PS2 section, but it belongs here too. Anyways, my PS2 stopped reading my DVDs, so I am gonna call Sony tomorrow to fix it. I have heard that they do it for free, if you mention DRE, and after all that is whats going on with my PS2. I am just amazed I am taking it so calmly. Maybe it is because I didnt break it...

Mine stopped playing all CD's because I watched too many DVD's.

You know you can get a free repair if you act tought over the phone. As sure as hell I am going to get mine.

Mine hasn't ever had a problem, and I leave it on for weeks at a time occasionally. Same with the Xbox.

Finally the dreaded "Disc Read Error" message.

I know you can fix it yourself or buy a cd cleaner, but I paid 320+tax bucks for a complete product, so they better fix it for free!
