Ill give you a hint.....It may or may not have been me! Over the summer tickets went on sale, and they sold out immediately. I didnt get any :indiff: Forward to saturday night, the night of the concert. My uncle has 2 extra tickets from work. My dad goes and one of his friends was going to go but he bailed. I didnt know of the extra tickets that my uncle had, so I was at my girlfriends house at the time. Her house is a solid 40 minutes from the place where the concert was. My dad calls me, and says that if I can get there in a half hour, he can get me in for the 2nd half of the show. I get in my Prelude and drive like there is no tomorrow. I was shaking when I got there, and I managed to make it in like 20 minutes :nervous:

I got in, and the show was AMAZING. I have never seen anyone play the flute like Ian Anderson. They simply rocked the house. The only bad part was his voice was bad. But what would you expect from a guy who is like 60? I would definitely go again if I had the chance. 👍

Did he stand on one foot?
 
His voice was great back in the 70's early 80's I saw him several times. The last time I saw him was in the late 90's I think it was in 1999 or 2000.The first time I saw him was in 74/75.
 
Fantastic 👍 Where was the show?? I'm a big fan of Jethro Tull (well, anything pre-1980's anyway) and would love to see them performing live...
 
The show was at the Rialto Square theater in Joliet Illinois. Its a small theater, but not too small. He did stand on 1 foot, but he probably danced around more that anything. The whole band had so much energy it was unbelievable. 👍

I dont know if he did or not, but I really cannot emphasize enough how awesome of a flute player Ian Anderson is. It was like, if you take Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, and Chuck Norris, put them together, and teach them to play the flute. 👍
