I've been practicing in Quick Play.... I can complete Freebird but not Psychobilly Freakout..... :confused:
 
Psychobilly was a tough one on hard for me too. but now i never fail it on expert unless i'm not well warmed up and my hand starts to ache.

Hanger 18 has to be the toughest normal song Freebird wasnt hard at all and only Solo J kicks my butt. And there seems to be to much star power on that song. You be well charged before solo j and star power you're way past Solo j. the rest is not difficult.
 
Six is harder but i was just talking about standard songs.

Six is one of my favorites to play on expert if my hands are up to the task. Have you even seen Six on Expert? The first time i saw it my jaw it the floor.
 
I've done psychobilly freakout on expert, well passed it I mean. No way in hell i can fathom passing freebird on expert though. O_O
 
lol na i havn't seen six on expert, but it is the only song i can get 100% on on medium(only had it out for 2 days on ps2 and 2 days on 360). It is my favourite song by far on the game, can't wait for 'band'(can't remember if that's what it's being called?) or GH3...

What about Jordan on Expert? That song was never meant to be 100% completed....

I've had a look at Freebird on expert and really, I can see myself having trouble with the end part of Solo C (which i did on hard as well). I usually struggle to get the timing right of the quick triplets, i usually go out of time two or three triplets in and then it takes me a few bars to catch up again - by that time I've usually failed.
 
Jordan is just retarded and most of it's hard solos have no melody and sounds more like noise than music. I've seen Buckethead do those same silly solos and he doesn't strum at all, its all tapping. GH2 does not let you tap realistically, you have to strum first.

Freebird is not hard at all, it just requires endurnace. Only Solo J is the hard part but you would have star power ready for it.
 
speaking of Endurance... i just did The Trooper on Hard in Coop... The Base is retarded hard, my arm was full of cramps half-way through....
 
Actually I took some time to try out freebird on expert and the only problem I had was probably Solo C it sounds about right the way Dodge was describing it, of course star power ready for it. I failed because I used star power to late on I don't know what solo I wasn't expecting to do so poorly on it I wasn't hitting anything and hit star power but by then it was too late, and I was discouraged to do the whole song again to get to the solos. :\
 
I'm using the PS2 but this is a more visited thread then the one in the PS2 forum. I cannot do Beast in the Harlot for the life of me. Can someone give me some advice as to how to beat this i'm having a problem on the Main Riff, and Verse.
 
Another question, how to I play against other people online on the 360? I can't seem to figure it out. I am conected to XBOX Live at the moment...

As far as I know it's not on XBL so you can't play over the net.

Well, GH2 only supports leaderboards, so you're out of luck there... but GH3 will have online multiplayer.
 
Yeah I was actually resourceful and peeked around and found out that you can't which i'm sure has been said many times, is stupid. Unless no matter waht they could not make it online like that. Kind of misleading when you see XBOX live on the box you could only imagine that the only useful online thing in GH2 would be to play against (or with) people online. But I guess I should do my research next time :(

Ya it's stupid you can't play it over XBL, but whatever, GHIII should be out before years end.
