I don't know but there's something wrong about the way that dude talks :odd: , he sounded real nervous...I'm not really into that type of music but he played wonderful, he really seems to know what music is. 👍

I don't think English is his native tongue. I think it's a accent you hear.

Not bad vid. Boring scale runs, mostly, but not bad. I do them myself once in a while.

Nope, just audio. My Sony camcorder is not compatible with my PC, for some stupid reason. Trust me, I've tried to make it work. I think since it's HD it wont work.

I have some old audio files, but yousendit.com wont work for me anymore. Everytime I try to use it, it warns me that it's not a valid format, whatever that means.

If you have MSN chat, I could send them to you that way. I can't make any new recordings. My mic input on my PC is busted, and so is the adapter I bought for it.

If somebody with MSN chat wants to post them for me, let me know.
 
Laiho is freakin' awesome. I love children of bodom. I think Robert quit the band, though. I'm not sure how old that video is.

This is a video of of Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom showing off and demonstrating some things. He plays some Vivaldi and I think there's something reminiscent of Satch in there, too.

Why is it that I can't watch more than one Google Video? I need to shut down my computer, and log back on the net to watch a second video. Why is that? Anyone with a clue? I'm stumped.

Oh, I know they're good. But everyone and their mother knows who Vai and Satch are (seriously, my mother knows who they are and quite likes Satch to boot) so I figured I'd let some other great guitarists get some recognition. ;)

Considering Vai actually played and composed the parts both he and the "Karate Kid" played specially for the movie (his scary intro riff thing later became "Bad Horsie"), I'd say Steve Vai owned himself. Which is quite fitting, Vai being the only person alive who can top his own playing... :)

I can play Satriani's "Midnight" pretty much note perfect, did it for yr 12 music years ago. It isn't actually very hard. I had to learn how to finger tap just to do that one piece, I'd pretty much just been playing Hendrixy blues up till then! I had a few weeks to do it. :scared:

I wish I had that kind of pressure to get better at playing again, it really worked! I'm so lazy now!
