Gymkhana is a specially-designed training stage of the Driving Park facility that is indispensable for improving your driving technique. It was used for the Coffee Breaks on Gran Turismo 4's license tests. In these Coffee Breaks cones are arranged in different setups depending on the level of the license. The list of coffee breaks is this below:
  1. Drive a Daihatsu Copen through a field of cones without hitting one.
  2. Use a Peugeot 206cc to drive over cones laid out in a decreasing-radius spiral. (Funny enough, the information of this coffee brake says "with the training car being an Opel Speedster Turbo." Even though you are using a Peugeot 206cc :dunce: )
  3. Use a TVR Griffith 500 to drive over cones laid out in an increasing-radius spiral.
  4. Drive a Nissan 350Z Roadster though a Gymkhana course and stop it at the end.
  5. Drive a Honda BEAT through a maze, hitting all the cones.
Gymkhana can also be accessed via the Driving Park area of the Gran Turismo Mode's map. It can be considered a really big burnout pad I suppose... If you do really big burnouts ;)

It was a good idea, but the track didn't have any official recording measure or task to achieve. It was also ironic to give it available for run in game where drifting or power-steer is almost impossible to initiate.

But if they fix those, go ahead, put it into game. :)
