Had a blast in a 488GTB @ NCM road course.

Was able to try my hand at driving the Ferrari 488GTB around the National corvette museum road course in bowling green,KY.
Had a pro driver instructing me around the course(retired prodriver as you can see he lost his hand in an accident). They cater to everyone even people with no real interest in racing but looking for a new thrill, hence not really allowing us to push the cars, but still got my rocks off just driving a ferrari in itself was all I wanted but to run it on a track was icing on the cake.

I did something similar in a 458 in Southern California a couple years ago. I wasn't used to driving mid or rear engined cars at the time, so it took me a bit to get used to it, but what a car!

Oh without a doubt, the instructors offered great feedback but for me it was just sensory overload being in a car I’ve never driven on a track I’ve never driven and trying to take in everything the instructors commands almost made it worse for me where my inputs almost became reactive versus smooth natural flowing because of the constant commands. I felt at times i began to drive better the more I blocked him talking out of my mind and then became choppy once I would go back to trying to do it step by step how he was explaining what to do.

You did pretty damn good though for your first time in a mid engine with that power level while listening to his commands. You kept great speed through the course...

Did you guys have other cars on track with you?

Yeah theres usually 2 cars on track at once. I think I caught up to one in the video.

I have other track experience in slower cars, but this was definitely a new experience!
