2 things guys:

Where's the damn search function? it's been a while since I've been here and though I like the new layout, where's the search box at?

and

I needed to find a solution to a problem I have. I updated to 2.2 today (BF3's been keeping me busy) and I have no sound. I have Astro's A30's connected via optical (and USB for chat) and also my TV gets sound via HDMI (I do enable multi output on PS3 settings). This works fine in any other game.
I've fiddled a bit with the in game settings, amidoingitwrong?

lol

found the search function, now when I search my issue my own thread shows up

what a fail lawlz

help?

go to settings - sound settings - audio multi-output and set the option to on.

I have all 3 outputs (hdmi to tv, optical to receiver and rca to headset) on my PS3 and they work fine.

I do have that enabled and when I exit the game the sound returns to both my TV and headset, I can hear the clicks on the XMB. When I launch the game, nothing.

Is this common?

don't you all answer at once :sly:

I had this problem with the sound too, but only from optical or HDMI, the AV worked ok. I deleted the game data and reinstalled it and all updates and it has been fine since then. Not sure if it's the same issue but might fix your problem.

Next time do a search...

sorry, I had to before someone else did.
