I'm looking to use this chair as a sort of racing seat to use for a cockpit. I was wondering if anybody owns this and thinks its a good buy, or if I should just rip a car seat from the junkyard. Also, if you could tell me how the vibration motors in this seat fair up to Buttkickers.

my limited experience with chairs like this leads me to say I wouldn't touch it. Nothing built into a chair like this is going to give you the same experience as a buttkicker. There are cheaper ($50) alternatives to buttkickers that cost a bit less but I have never used them. I got a seat out of a honda for 16 dollars from a pull your own parts junkyard and I would recommend it.
