Handicap race format wanted.

Hey guys.

Wasnt sure where to put this question, have also put it in the competition forums...

I run a race league in Australia and we are looking at having a major prize for the winner of a race we want to run towards the end of the year. We want it to be available to all our members, meaning that i need to find or come up with a handicap system of some sort so that the div 3 guys can run with, and compete against the faster div 1 guys. This way it gives all the guys in our leagues a chance of some sort of winning the prize.

Was hoping that someone may have a handicap car schedule with HP limits etc that might be able to help me out, or similar using the PP limit.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

This link is to the Parity Race League. Each week Mike picks a track and tire and a target lap time window (half second) and we choose any car we want to attack the target time. Person with the lowest PP that achieves the target time window wins the hot lap portion of the week, then we take the cars to the track and race. Produces exciting, close racing, different winners all the time. Everyone is in a car that can run the exact same lap time. Of course it depends on the honesty of the drivers but it's not hard to police. If the target time is say 1:10 and guys are running 1:08's in the race they obviously cheated. Hasn't been an issue in our group through several weeks of racing.
