Well, i searched this forum and couldnt find any results so heres the question. i was wondering if anyone here has managed to increase their handling and acceleration in the arcade mode. This will show by a red bar increasing from the yellow bar in that semi circle thingy whilst ur selecting ur ride.

If so hows it done?

i dont think you can change the circles...they show stock values afaik..

im sure we av all managed to get the speed bar to max , rite!

but how come u can change the speed bar,( this is to do with garage cars i 4got to add)

i know..

i still think it shows stock values....i could be wrong, i never paid too much attention myself..

i agree wid u on it showin stock values for the handling and acceleration but there must be sum way 2 enhance it rite?

Maybe altering the settings will improve these. But I haven't really cared, though I have noticed this before. However, I am able to get the "speed" circle up to a complete circle. It does that for my Lancer EVO VII, or it used to, but the settings are really weird. I played around with them for an hour or so, and couldn't remember what to put them back to! So I just left them because I could just go get another EVO.

The bars are for the current car, I believe. If it's an Arcade car, there are fixed and can only be used to judge between them. I assume for Garage cars, they change depending on the current state of tune.

Who even looks at those things, anyway?

Whoa, I had no ideo what everybody was talking about until i looked for myself. Pointless, if you ask me.

By looking at those things you are able to judge how well your car handles/accelerates after you have performed some modding in the Simulator mode. And its not only for arcade cars, it is also for garage cars. I just want to find out whether those bars increase when you increase the handling of your garage cars, thats all.

they do not increase at all. they are only stock for that car. dont matter how much it is tuned or setted out they remain at stock.

Didn't check for the bars yet, but the power is definitely wrong. For instance, a Mini Cooper in your garage will be displayed with 63hp even if it's fully modded to 178hp.

I tested it tonight, and in fact only the speed bar does vary depending on your settings. I checked it first on 2 Minis : one stock, the second fully modified. I put some tape on the TV screen to mark the stock Mini bars, then I selected the modded Mini and the speed bar was a few pixels longer. I checked it then on 3 Opel Calibras : one stock, the second fully modified and the third with the bugged reverse gearbox (1 gear forward and 6 gears reverse) due to the X-port. There was this time a bigger difference between car 1 and car 2, and a huge difference with car 3 which has almost no speed bar.
But the question was about handling and acceleration, and I noticed absolutely no difference for these. It seems only the speed bar is affected by settings and modding.

i think your right flat-out. I found some CTR2 handling settings on the net that would boost the handling on the CTR2, well i applied it to my CTR2 in the Sim mode and i noticed a sizable difference in the handling. When i went to the arcade mode the handling on the CTR2 was still the same. So i will also draw up the conclusion that the handling and acceleration bars in arcade mode will always represent the stock values no matter how much you tune up the car, if anyone notices anything different i would like to know.

About the Power, it will always represent stock values and not the tuned ones.
