Hey, people, But i have got this sub 10sec (0-400m) NISMO R32 Which i find as being a great car, but there is one problem with it.

The stupid thing can't stop understeering, how could i improve the handling radically?

I would appreciate any feedback from all you pro's.

Thanks

ZEE. :)

Buy a Full Customize Limited Slip-Diff, set it to 5~25~5 on the rear do not change the front. Turn off ASM and put TCS to about 3. Try these settings, I use these on basically every car on every track.

Ride height-min/min
Spring-20/20
Bound-max/max
Rebound max/max
Brake bal-9/9, try 12/13 with the R32
LSD-5~25~5
downforce max/max*
ASM-0
TCS-3

*Dont know if you can change the downforce on this car.

Here are some things to do for understeering cars.

1) Make sure rear springs are set higher then front.
2) Raise the rear height a couple notches higher then front.
3) Increase front camber i usually use 3.0 but you can go higher if needed.
4) Add some toe to the rear. try +0.5,1.0 or 1.5
5) Increase rear stabiliser a notch or 2 higher then front.

All these things will induce oversteer. Just try 1 or all till ya get it handlin the way ya want. Reducing asm and tcs helps a great deal too.

be careful with the slamming and stiffening technique. Some cars take this very well, others are killed by it. If you are getting serious understeer try slamming the front end down, and raise the back up a good portion, mabey half way. What that does is moves the center of gravity in the back end up enough to let the back "roll" around the front end in turns.
Set, the front springs to about 3/4 full, and the rear to less then half strength.
rear bound should be dropped down, and the front to mabey 7 or 8
rear rebound should be high, mabey maxed if needed, and the front maxed.
rear camber should be mabey 3.0 (this takes fooling with) and the front to like .5 or 1.0
Front toe could be around .5 and rear should be negative, the more negative the less understeer you will have (too much can gice bad oversteer sometimes)
front stabilivers should be 1 less then max and the rear dropped to 1 or 2.
This should help understeer. It may even create a bit of oversteer, so play around with it until you find what you like. The best thing to adjust after trying these settings is the rear spring rate and rear toe-out. The looser the back end the easier turning will be.
Also, if it is 4wd (i can't remeber right now) get the VCD and set it to 30% or so.
good luck
put the front brakes about 5 to 7 points less then the rear.

too cold - it's kinda funny, I agree with everything but I always negative toe the front and leave the rear straight on tuned 4WD's. It would be interesting - probably the same effect, just a different way of doing it. :)
