Hey. I just bought a Skyline GTR V-Spec II, maxed it out on upgrades...and went to race it. Is it just me, or does it have really bad handling? I couldn't even make that little S-curve at the beginning of Midfield. Even if I lower the power to 702 horsepower, it's still hard to turn with it. I still haven't tweaked with the suspension, but the stock Skyline in GT2 was a lot better than this one.

Does anyone else see this?

I've also had problems tuning my skyline.

The only thing that works for me (very little might I add), is adding the VCS option and setting to front to about 10%. This gives it more of a RWD feel than 4WD. Even so, I still find myself spinning out of turns and sliding around. Let me know if anyone else has good tips for tuning this car.

With that much horsepower, ANY car would be light in the nose! No weight on front tires ---> no steering.

Still, that's only part of the problem on the Skyline. I've found a bit of rear toe adjustment to work with most cars that don't turn at any speed, as does a gentle touch on the gas and some good braking technique.

Turn off the ASM, or at least turn it down, part of what it does, is decrease your ability to turn.
I you already did, then disregard.

also lowering your stablizers (front and rear) will help loosin her up.

Stiffening the suspension will help with carrying speed through turns. Lower the ride height all the way (a little scraping never hurt anybody)

Turn ASM OFF. It absolutely neuters skylines
Lower tcs to like 1 or 2
up your camber a hair.

They really arent that good handling of a car from what I understand

I find that when i adjust the camber angles it also helps slightly.

Can someone tell me their best lap times for Laguna Sega and Midfield using a fully done r34 gtr

Mine for midfield is 1:08:799

I think i can do better but its a matter of me tuning my car and learning how to drive it properly...
