Now I'm legal to drink in the US too (which was a small part of the reason we didn't go on a holiday there last year.

Canada, drink = yes. United Statates, drink = no.

Yes, you can be tried as an adult, change your name, see an X-rated movie, fight for your country, have a sex change, get a tattoo and/or piercing...

...But you can't drink until you're 21.
