So no luck on the bike, eh? Such a shame to have such a sweet machine just sitting there. I honestly think they were designed to be ridin, long and hard.
Anyhow, do you feel any different being of legal age for so many things, but not quite legal enough for everything?
It probably won't just sit there forever. He's an AA pilot, and pilot for the reserves, so he's not home much. Once he's home more, and feels comfortable on it I'm sure he'll rack on a few more miles. I doubt he'll become comfortable for a long time, though, as the thing cost about as much as an SRT-4/WRX/Evo VIII.

He's actually looking for another bike(some kind of Honda/BMW sport tourer) that he can ride to work everyday, and just use the Harley as a weekend bike. He wants something he can leave parked at the Air Force Base, or airport, without worrying someone's going to mess with it.
Anyhoo... I feel the same. Still feel like the young punk kid I am.

I always told my parents on my 18th I'd go buy porn, cigarettes, and go to a strip club.

I didn't do any of that, though.
I didn't get too many gifts. Definitely no hookers, or whores.

I got a leather motorcycle riding jacket, kevlar gloves, a full face helmet, money, clothes, and a trip to Europe. My Dad knows I've been wanting to go back ever since I went for a 2 week class trip in the 7th grade(I believe it was 7th), but I probably won't take him up on it. I would rather just have him spend that money on my mom when they get back together.
Thanks again, everyone. And, happy birthday Raptor.

The 7th was my brother's birthday.
