For a few hours this morning, it looked like I was going to get the ultimate birthday gift: a baby girl. But it turned out to be a false alarm and the doctors sent the wife and I home. Regardless, she'll be along shortly, I'm sure.
Normally, there would be lots of merriment and the unabashed consumption of tasty adult beverages, but tonight I think we'll be on the couch watching
