Apparently it's the US's Mother's Day today (and Australia's).

I'm going to both of my grandparents' places tomorrow to celebrate. My mom is also going to KROQ Weenie Roast (a huge rock concert) with me today... although I wanted to bring friends from school instead. :guilty:

There ya go Jack, you got it right. Mothers day isnt about spending loads of money on pressies its about doing something special for your mum and in my books you posting a message before anyone else is pretty damn special. Thanks.

I am such a good son – I bought a $9 casserole dish, and moved my car off the driveway for her. :)
 
I bought mum a Human Nature cd.*Shudders*, then four bunches of discounted flowers from work :D

You feel so queer buying a cd like that. I had to buy the new Tool album to balance it out, then I got served by a hot punk chick! I was crushed.
 
I bought my mom a $600 purse. Beat that!

(the special gift idea didn't work, and she'd skin us alive if she didn't get one to add to her collection.)

I would wish my Mother "Happy Mothers day" here but she wouldn't see it, I found it more effective to tell her in person. :)
 
she got the eagles' collection (the one they were flogging sometime last year...) and two froggy ornamental thingies... she BETTER be happy. :crazy:
