Happy Veteran's Day everybody!
Honor the men who have served or are currently serving in the US army, and the men who have died to keep this country the way it is today. Remember the days of triumph and hardship the world has faced in the past and present, and always be respectful to our great American flag.

If you have any relatives who is serving or has served for our glorious country, you are welcome to share to the rest of the GTP community. You are also welcomed to fly by and say Happy Veteran's Day! If you also have other things in mind pertaining to this important day, please do so, but make sure it follows AUP regulations.

Happy Armistice Day!

Sorry if there's already a thread made similar to this one. Mods you may close this is there is already one.

I'll just quote myself from facebook:
Happy Veteran's Day and a huge THANKS to those who protect and fight for us, so we can live like we want to. And of course a special thanks to the allied forces, who freed us from the fascistic regime here.

Might seem strange from a German, but I'm serious, I have a huge respect for the veterans and soldiers who are still out there.

Happy Veterans Day!

Does that Google picture seem like a drawing from Winnie the Pooh? To me it does lol[/offtopic]

Huh, now it looks like it now you mention it  But the doodle certainly looks promising, esp. the yellow flag tied on the tree. Must've mean independence in the story the doodle implies.

This post also is a bump.

Well I'm here respecting both the soldiers back home in the UK, and the soldiers in the US. I just thank them for what they have done, and how they have laid down their own lives for our freedom.

Oh, and to those disrespecting the soldiers in the two minute silence shame on you.

It's also Armistice day in the UK. ;)

And I'd just like to say, thank you to all the men and women out there, fighting for their country, for their people, no matter where they are from...

Remembrance Day is what we have here in Canada, to pay our respects to war veterans past and present. That includes both those who survived and who had to make the ultimate sacrifice.

I would like to extend my personal thanks to all those who serve so that the rest of us can enjoy all the current freedoms and rights we have.

May the service men and women of all nations rest in piece.

Thanks to all who fought and all who died for us to have the world we live in today.

Oh, how you'd turn in your graves.

If you knew what this world would become you may never have picked up a weapon.

And for my great grandfather -
