A friend gave me a heads up about this game during the week and once I started playing, I had a hard time putting it down. Its like Gauntlet Dark Legacy meets an MMO. Very very fun and colorful game. It also has a co-op multiplayer mode or a vs multiplayer mode.

Ended up playing most of the weekend. The co-op mode is so dang fun. It was 15 real players vs 15 bots. I dont have much interrest in playing the vs multiplayer. It also has something like a slot machine where you can place bets for armor,weapons,skins,and more. The aquatic level is my favorite. So colorful. The teamwork is also a blast when everyone gets into the circles to perform the huge attacks. I can see myself playing this game on and off for a while.

I've played that a few times. My only complaint was Multiplayer takes a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time to load up a game.

I want to say I'm a level 2 or 3 right now.

Whats your favorite character? Warrior, Cleric or Mage?
 
I have been using the Mage 99.9% of the time and I only play the co-op mode against the bots. Its 15 real players against 15 bots. I haven't even bothered trying the multiplayer. Heard the mp was very unbalanced. So I will probably avoid that. Co-op is a blast.
 
Seeing as this got little interest in the first place, I'm not sure how far this will be heard. Still, might as well post it.

Happy Wars has come to the Xbox One, for free. I have not read much into it, but I did download it. A warning though, the multiplayer/coop staging times are absolutely horrendous. I'm not sure if it's because they are trying to allow cross platform gaming(was a news tidbit some time ago that they where going to do this with the next gen release) but the loading seems to be so much worse then it ever was.

Thanks for the heads up. I really enjoyed Happy wars on the 360 for quite a while. Then Microsoft released Dungeon Defenders for free on the 360 and I never went back to Happy wars after playing Dungeon Defenders. DD was incredibly fun.

BUT if its out on the X1 I will have to check it out again for sure. That's if I can get myself away from Neverwinter. One of the most addictive rpg hack and slash games I have ever played. Neverwinter is also free. :)

It was very difficult for me to get one coop match going, but it eventually happened. Then everyone froze and I was the only one left wandering around. So much so that I didnt even want to play anymore.

There is a new mode called Skirmish, though. You play by yourself with bots, but you still get awarded points and items.

I downloaded it but didn't get to play last night. Since it just launched on the X1 I am not surprised it is not working. I cant think of any games that ever work the first few days they launch this gen. Seems like pretty much every game has launch issues now. :(

I'm thinking that its some sort of open beta. The title screen even says "Pre-Release"
